Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils & rocks as met at site , true to lines as per plan,L section , camber, super elevation as required , also including uprooting & cutting of bushes ,dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes, with all lead, lift and safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places by mechanical means/ manual means indicated in the drawing with out damaging forest , forest land , utility and private properties ,including slip clearance during hill side cutting as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per MORD specifications , Clause 1600,

Excavation in foundation for structures in all types of soils and rocks including lead, lift and disposal of surplus material as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MoRD specification clause 305 (R/W, B/W, Parapet, Culvert, Hume Pipe, Causeway, Bridge, Dry Scupper, Catchpit, drain etc.)

Construction of R. R . stone masonary in cement mortar 1:5 including supply of all materials, labour, t&p & royaltyetc, required for proper completion of work as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MoRD specifications Clause 700 &1604. (R/W, B/W, Parapet, Culvert, Hume Pipe, Causeway, Bridge, Dry Scupper, Catchpit, drain etc.

Construction of R. R. stone masonary laid dry including supply of all materials, labour, t&p & royalty etc, required for proper completion of work as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MoRD specifications Clause 700 &1604. (R/W, B/W, Dry Scupper, Catchpit etc.)

HP stone filling in back of structures including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD specification clause 1604.7. (R/W, B/W, Parapet, Culvert, Hume Pipe, Causeway, Bridge, Dry Scupper, Catchpit etc.)

Providing and laying of wire crates 3.00x1.50x1.50 in size with GI wire conforming to IS: 280 & IS:4826 in 150mm x 150mm mesh laid with stone boulders. as per direction of Engineer-in- charge. (As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications) GI wire 8 gauge BWG

Providing and laying of concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations for structures including supply of all materials, labour,t&p&royalty etc,required for proper completion of work as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD specifications Clause 800 , 1202 & 1203 for P.C.C grade M 10. (Parapet, Culvert, Hume Pipe, Causeway, Bridge, Dry Scupper, Catchpit etc.)

Plain/reinforced cement concrete in substructure complete as per drawings and technical specification Clauses 802, 804, 805, 806, 807, 1202 ans 1204 (For height upto 5 m) Nominal mix 1:2:4 (Hand mixed)

Cement plum Masonry with 40% plum & 60% 1:3:6 cement concrete including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work. as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 of MORD Specifiction

Providing and Laying of Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal shaped Gabions (Zinc plus PVC coated), of size 3mX1mX1m with two diaphragms at 1m interval, having mesh opening 100mmx120 mm, mesh wire diameter 2.7mm/3.7mm, edge/selvedge wire diameter 3.4/4.4 mm and lacing wire diameter 2.2/3.2 mm. (The work includes filling boulders in the gabions).

Surface Drains in SoilConstruction of unlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40sqm in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment with a lift upto 3m and lead of 50 m(average lead 25 m) as per Technical Specification Clause 307. Mechanical means

Type - A, "W" : Metal Beam Crash Barrier Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810 ( if Concrete Required for Vertical post Fixing will be paid extra)

Supplying, cutting , and placing of HYSD bar reinforcement in substructure/superstructure complete (IS1786:2008 clause no. 1.6) Steel shall not be from rerolling plants and shall conform to relevent IS Code including supply of all materials, labour,t&p&royalty etc,required for proper completion of work as directed by Engineer-in-charge as per MORD specification no. 1000 (Culvert, Bridge, Causeway, Scupper etc.)

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Roadway Cutting Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5

Construction of coolie walling including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work as per direction of Engineerin- charge. (As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications)

WBM Grading 2 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.By Manual Means

WBM Grading 3:-Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading3 as per MORD Specification Clause 405.

Providing and applying Prime coat LOW porosity with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) complying with IS : 8887 on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70- 1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Premix Carpet 20 mm thick Open-Graded Premix Carpet using Bituminous (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 11.2 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508. Bitumen (S-90)

Providing and laying seal coat by bituminous Emulsion as for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels grade and cross fall using type-B as per Techanical specification Clause 508.

Providing and fixing of C.C edge stones 12cmX12cmX60cm size precast in M15 cement concrete with 4 nos. 8 mm dia MS vertical bars and 3 nos 6mm dia MS bar stirrups as per approved drawing including two coat white washing on valley side of formation as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.

Hectometer stone (Precast) (precast) (Reinforced cement concrete M15grade Hectometer stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc)

AFP (Aluminum-backed flexible prismatic sheeting) Hazard Marker: Providing and fixing Aluminum-backed flexible prismatic sheeting consisting of Yellow colored flexible prismatic sheeting with non-metallic prismatic lens as retro reflective elements and conforming to ASTM D 4956- 09 Type VI specification values for reboundable sheeting. AFP sheeting shall be of 1ft width and laminated at the back with a 50 micron thick Aluminum (Al) foil with pressure sensitive adhesive and liner. AFP sheeting shall have screen printed arrow/slant line pattern in black color on top & shall not crack when tested for flexibility as per section S2.2.2 of ASTM D 4956-09. The AFP sheeting shall be applied with a neoprene contact adhesive with Polychloroprene as base & the edges of the product shall be sealed all around with a two-part epoxy based structural adhesive and shall be extremely resistant to peel-off & product specification shall confirm to IRC Accreditation.
