SCHEDULE "A" PART - I [CIVIL WORKS]

Dismantling steel sheeting, plain /corrugated or semi corrugated of any gauge, thickness sheets as in roof/wall coverings including ridges etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling AC sheeting, plain /corrugated or semi corrugated of any gauge, thickness sheets as in roof/wall coverings including ridges etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of Wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling structural steel work such as doors, gates, truss etc., wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames n.exc 1.5Sq.m. with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Quoted rate shall be inclusive of Cutting / separating of reinforcement as required.

Demolition of cement concrete [unreinforced] in ground floors and pavings exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete [unreinforced] of any description in any position, not otherwise saperately provided for, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing 15/20mm bore of pipe of any grade and connections for material taken back by contractor through credit, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing demolished building materials/ debris etc (other than soil obtained from earth work) to a distance exceeding 10.0km but not not exceeding 15.0km, including loading and unloading and depositing outside the MD land at GVMC designated places, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Materials considered under Schedule of Credit shall not be considered in this item. 2. Definition of load shall be as given in section 21 of SSR Part-II.

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n. exc.1.5m in depth for laying of under ground cables or pipe line etc., n exc 10 sq m on plan and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface excavation n. exc. 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, including removal of the rubish outside MD land, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting, Felling and Grubbing of tree of girth exceeding 100cm but not exceeding 150cm in girth, with and including cutting of trunk, branches, digging out roots, filling holes and leveling off ground, stacking of serviceable material and disposal of u/s material out side MD land and clearing site, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pre construction Anti termite treatment by Treating the backfill in contact with foundation at the rate of 7.5 litres of emulsion per square metre of vertical surface (Area of the sub structure in contact with backfill to be measured), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pre construction Anti termite treatment by Treating the back and sides of excavation at the rate of 5.0 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface area, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pre construction Anti termite treatment by Treating the top surface of filled earth at the rate of 5.0 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface area, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pre construction Anti termite treatment by Treating the soil along external perimetre of the building at the rate of 2.25 litres of emulsion per metre, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pre construction Anti termite treatment by Treating the soil under plinth protection at the rate of 5.0 litres of emulsion per square metre of plinth protection surface area, complete all as specified and as directed. Note for Item No. 1.022 to 1.026 Only approved chemical shall be used as per IS 6313 (Part-2): 2013 and applicators of ATT are registered by the Pest Control Association of India (PCAI)/ Indian Pest Control Assoiation (IPCA)

M&L for Drilling or boring for 600mm nominal dia. bored cast-in-situ piles through any or all types of strata i.e soft/loose soil, stiff clay, gravel, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintegrated rock, weathered rocks etc., (except hard rock for socketing depth) upto top of socketing depth/founding depth by adopting suitable method with perennial water and disposal of drilling/bored materials outside MD land as directed, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial Item No. 1.027 here in before but for 600mm nominal dia through hard rock for founding depth minimum 2D (Where D is dia of pile), complete all as specified. Notes for Item Nos. 1.027 to 1.028:- (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground/sea bed level/river bed top (as per soundings/reduced levels taken at the commencement of work) to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste bentonite slurry/ drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises to locations shown by GE to contractor at his own cost. The distance mentioned in description of item shall be the shortest distance from the centre of the building. (iii) All channels/tanks made for bentonite circulations shall be filled with approved moorum obtained by contractor at his cost after clearing all bentonite cakes. (iv) The contractor may use any approved method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt. The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/ casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles. Nothing extra shall be paid. (v) For the purpose of payment of boring/drilling, description of hard rock shall be as given in particular specification. (vi) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required.

M&L for providing and installing MS liner for bored cast-in-situ concrete piles with necessary stiffeners , driving shoe with continuous welding including cutting, bending welding etc. confirming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250 Quality A) including applying one coat of primer with two coats of special bituminous paint on outer surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Rate shall be inclusive of cutting the liner at cut off level. The rate is deemed to include for cutting, removal and salvage value of the material so obtained. (ii) MS liner shall be driven upto refusal level. The occurrence of refusal level will be decided by GE at site based on visual inspection of bailer samples from pile bore hole, past experience and laboratory test result. The decision of GE in this regard will be final and binding. (iii) MS liner will be measured and paid up to the cut off level of pile only. Additional MS liner if used for convenience of construction shall be included in the rates quoted. No extra shall be paid separately on this account.

Carrying out initial load tests on test pile of 600mm dia as per standard procedure laid down in IS-2911 by static load test method with compressive strength, including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc. as specified and as directed by GE and submission of reports for 2.5 times of the design load in non-working areas in the vicinity of site, including the cost of new piles for 600mm dia with specification as same as working pile with minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock 2D (Where D is dia of pile) depth, complete all as specified. Note: Load rquired for testing as per IS shall be arranged by the contractor and test pile shall be abondoned after testing.

Carrying out routine load test on 600mm dia pile (working pile) as per standard procedure given in IS-2911 (Part IV) by high strain dynamic load with compressive strength, including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc and submission of reports for 500mm dia Piles for 1.5 times of the design load complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Sand filling in floors or paving's or in foundations laid in layers n.exc. 15cm thick spread, levelled and rammed including watering, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Walling of random rubble masonry, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in CM (1:6), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Hardcore of gauge n. exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers n. exc. 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, using broken granite stone complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded Granite stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling, mass concrete and underneath pile caps, suspended flooring/slab, beams, plinth protection, surface channels, drains etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC type B0 [1:2:4] using 12.50mm graded granite stone aggregate) in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, bed plates, water troughs, surface channel benching/ haunching and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, finished plain fair faces, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing precast cement concrete (RCC) 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in cover slabs for manholes / drains, chajjas, shelves, baffle wall and similar articles set in CM 1:4, finished plain fair faces, including necessary formwork etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded Granite stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling, mass concrete and underneath pile caps, suspended flooring/slab, beams, plinth protection, surface channels, drains etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete (Ready mix concrete) by design mix M-40 grade (Using 20mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in pile bore holes using Portland slag cement and admixture auramix 400 or equivalent for piles, including necessary dewatering, formwork, concrete mixed in RMC plant, transporting, placing, compacting, vibrating etc., complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Design mix shall be as per IS-456-2000 and the slump shall be 150 to 180mm. (ii) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include interalia for preliminary design mix, works test cubes as specified. (iv) Minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg/ Cu.m. of concrete for M40 (Piles) using PSC with minimum slag content of 50% (fifty percent) (v) Admixture shall be added as per manufacturer instructions. The rate for Admixture shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vi) The unit rate shall be deemed to include for carrying out non-destructive integrity test for 100% of the total number of piles as per IS 14893-2001 shall be done by Government Engineering College / IIT Chennai in the presence of contractor and the test results shall be vetted by the same authorities. Cost of testing is include in the quoted rates. (vii) In case at the time of mix design cement content is increased beyond minimum content given above, no extra payment will be made. (viii) Standard manufactured cover blocks as per IS should be used, Site cast cover blocks shall not be used.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded granite stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures, as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns, pile caps, suspended floor beams & slabs, plinth protection, basement slabs, under-reamed piles etc. using Portland slag cement and handling, conveyance, errection with alignment in true position complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.1.040 here-in-before but as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, duct slab and in shelves and the like complete.

Note:- WPC will be measured and paid separately

M&L for 50mm thick plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded hard granite stone aggregate) as in plinth protection, finished even and fair without using extra cement including making construction joints in 3 mtres interval and joint filled with sealing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in floor/ramps, laid over and including 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in sub base, finished even and smooth with using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.
