SOIL INVESTIGATION AND CONSULTANCY FOR PREPARATION OF STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND COMPREHENSIVE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS AS PER BPs AND AE DETAILS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF INDOOR BADMINTON COURT WITH ALLIED FACILITIES AT CGRA RAMESWARAM

PART-I Mobilization & Demobilization

1.Making necessary arrangement Mobilization & Demobilization for of equipment tools & plants, personnel, etc. required for soil investigation and their removal after satisfatory completion of work, in land including slushy areas. Shifting of entire arrangemnt from one bore to another bore hole location and setting of boring/drilling rig as required (03 Nos Bore holes).

PART-II FIELD TESTS

2.Boring 150 mm dia bore holes to any type of soil/Rock to a depth of 75M or upto depth where N >50, whicever is earlier below the ground level by using rotary drill method in terms of IS: 1892 (03) Nos Bore holes) (Min depth of boring 75 M).

3.Collection of undisturbed soil sample (UDS) at 3.0m intervals or at any change of stratas in 100 mm bore thin walled tube including waxing, sealing, packing, and transporting to the lab (03) Nos Bore holes).

4.Carrying out Standard Penetration Test (SPT) including collection of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.50 M depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data (03 Nos Bore holes)

5.Collecting water samples from all Bore holes.

PART-III: LABORATORY TESTS as per IS: 1892 (For all 03 Nos Bore holes)

6. Conducting necessary (laboratory) tests on all collected samples (for all 3 bore holes) which includes the determination of:

(a) Atterberg limits. (b) Natural moisture content. (c) Wet and dry density. (d) Soil / particle size using seive hydrometer analysis. (e) Tri- axial shear test C & D. (f) Shrinkage Limit. (g) Consolidation test. (h) Crushing strength of rocks samples, degree of weathering (CR value) and ROD of rock samples. (j) Permeability test.

(k) Chemical analysis on Soil samples. (1) Chemical analysis on Water samples. (m) Standard and Modified Protocor's density test. (n) Vane shear test. (0) Salinity test. (p) Grain size analysis, identification & classification of soil. (q) Liquid limit, plastic limit, shrinkage limit, plasticity index. (r) Shear Parameters (C- Phi Analysis). (s) Depth of Water Table below Ground Level.

Part-IV: REPORT

Calculate:

(a) For open foundations, SBC at D-1.5m, 2m, 2.5m & 3m from shear as well as settlement criteria. SBC value shall be calculated based on C-Phi analysis as wel as SPT value. For Calculations, formulae given in IS: 6403 shall be used. (b) If pile foundation are required then depth of piles shall be mentioned and pile capacity in compression, uplift & lateral loads shall be given for 300, 400, 450, 500 dia for under reamed piles & for 450, 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 900 mm dia long piles. (c) Recommendations regarding type of foundation to be adopted & net SBC/ pile capacities to be adopted shall be given. (d) Recommendations shall be given regarding stability of soil and soil stabilization required, if any (e) Bore log details share be as per Appx 'D' of IS: 1892. N values depth wise shall also be shown in bore log details. (f) If hard soil with lesser than N Values as specified in Table- 1 of IS: 1893 (Part-1) 2016 is encountered, then evaluation of liquifection potential shall be assessed and remedial actions to be adopted shall be specified.

Consultancy services for structural design for construction of indoor badminton court with allied facilities including preparation detailed estimate, yardstick and market analysis of building at CGRA Rameswaram

(a) The consultant shall provide the STAAD PRO/ ETABS file, Auto CAD drawings in soft copy. Design folder and drawings duly vetted by IIT/NIT? IISc/ Govt Engineering College shall be submited along with soft copies (b) The counsultancy shall submit detaied structural design and drawing based on approved design folder to the client for checking. Rep of counsultant/designer will be available during checking for necassary clarification /explanation to client at the appointed date and time. the modification as suggested by the client shall be incorprated and final approved drawing shall be submitted Note:Details as per Annexure-1(Page No.23)
