Raft top of the well will be up to 4.5 m below the lowest water level of the Yamuna river of as per the decision of Engineer-in-Charge and designer’s recommendations.
A collecting chamber filled with graded media as per design and approval of Engineer Incharge of appropriate size attached structurally with the main Intake Well having the same depth. The feeding channel / pipe carry the raw water from river to collecting chamber.
The Intake well shall have a 60 cm wide RCC or MS spiral stair case with suitable landing and 1.00 m high GI pipe 20 mm railing in 3 rows supported on angle iron posts. The stair case should be started from deck slab up to the lowest foundation beam of the Intake well.
Arrangements of fixing valves and supported and grouted properly.
Intake well deck floor slab having bottom 1.5 m above HFL. The slab shall have suitable opening for the inside spiral stair case and have suitable 1 meter high railing of GI pipe in 3 rows supported on MS angle iron posts for prevention of falling of men and material in the well.
The outside 1.2 meter wide balcony shall have GI pipe railing in 3 rows supported on MS angle iron.
1.2 m wide RCC circular balcony around outside the well and RCC approach above 1.00 m HFL and having GI pipe 20 mm railing 3 rows support on MS angle iron post grouted in on RCC slab.
Roof slab of Intake well pump house shall be 3.5 m above deck slab and projecting 1.00 Meter outside the pump house wall providing roof over the balcony. The roof slab shall be flat/sloping and should have good architectural look. Pump house shall be provided with the following doors and windows:- (a) Entrance 1 No door of size 1.5 m x 2.1 m, (b) 3 Nos windows of size 0.9 m x 1.2 m. the door and windows shall be heavy size “Z” section and window having outside MS grill and mosquito proof net and fitting welded on door and windows to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge of work.
The structural design of the Intake well shall have a suitable 1.5 m wide and 18 m span RCC bridge and approach road for making approach to the Intake well cum pump house including iron gate on entrance.
All the expose masonry works shall either be of well plastered or of raised pointing or of ornamental plastering as per direction of Engineer in charge of work.
Pump house and Intake well shall be painted with two coats of approved quality and shade of cement, paint, snowcem, over one coat of primer and railing/ MS post shall be painted with approved quality and shade two coats of anti corrosive paint over one coat of approved quality of primer.
All necessary arrangements for dewatering during constructions diversion of river safe guard against flood shall be done by the contractor at his own cost and risk and no extra payment shall be made for these appurtenant works.
The detailed structural design of the Intake well cum pump house showing all the details should be supplied in 3 copies by the contractor within 21 days of acceptance of tender. The contractor will be bound to supply any other information asked for in respect of the above, failling which his tender will be liable to be rejected and earnest security deposit shall be forfeited. The contractor should also give reference of all the relevant IS/BS code, which ever and where ever applicable in the design and also other clarifications as and when asked for.

Design and Supply of all materials, labour T & P etc. and equipments to construct 2.1 MLD capacity (for 16 hours operation per day) rapid gavity filteration plant consisting of all required arrangement viz inlet chamber, clarifloculator, settling tank, filteration unit of 2.1 MLD each of specified gravel bed media with wash water trough, wash water storage back wash arrangement and scour & under drainage system and chemical solution tank & appropriates valves etc. all complete considering local safety factors including cartage of all materials, labour, T & p etc. as per CPHEEO guidelines required for proper completion of work.
Design and Supply of all materials, labour T & P etc. and equipments to construct 2.1 MLD capacity (for 16 hours operation per day) any other technology with performance certificate including design and methodology complete.
Excavation of earth for pipeline trenches of Raw, Clear water rising main, Feeder Main and Distribution System in following strata requiring the use of specials T&P such as pick axes, sabbals etc. or by blasting or by crow bars with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 30 m. including refilling, watering, ramming of excavated earth into the trenches and removal & disposal of surplus earth upto a distance of 60 m. from the trenches including supply of all materials, labour, T & P etc. all complete.
