Maintenance and operation of the MES Main receiving station cum power house (Sub station No 01) at Yol military station comprising equipments i.e. Transformers, VCB's, GOD, LT panel boards, battery bank and battery chargers and other safety equipments by engaging 01 skilled tradesman (FGM) (ITI qualified) (one in each shift of eight hours) for three shifts of 8 hours each in a day including Sundays & holidays as per directions of Engr-in-Charge.

Note for item No 01 to 10 :- (i) Inside, surrouding area of the Electric Supply & DG Set installations and all the plants & equipments shall be maintained neat and clean all the time and the unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost ot the same . (ii) The skilled tradesmen shall be ITI certificate holder & capable to attend emergency repair/ maintenance and complaints as per the directions of Engr-in-Charge. Spare parts required for repairs shall be issued under Schedule 'B' as "Free of cost for use". (iii) All T&P required for attending complaints and maintenance of plant and installation will be supplied by the contractor and cost is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iv) Proper attendance register shall be maintained by the contractor. (v) The Tradesmen shall be provided with protective clothings/ safety hand gloves/ industrial helments/ safety belts/ face masks and shall bear that while on duty and the cost is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (vi) The contractor has to provide adequate means to the workmen for conducive work environment and he has to ensure that the workers are covered as per labour law and insurance act. All the tradersmen should be covered under Insurance act vide Indian Elericity Rules, 1956. (vii) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for printing log sheet, registers and other stationery items. (viii) The contractor shall provide with approved colour of uniform for the tradesmen and they should wear the uniform in duty hours. The rate quoted deemed to be included in the quoted rate. If anybody found in duty without uniform penalty @ 500 per head will be recovered. (ix) The following register/documents to be maintained on daily basis :- (a) Daily Log sheet for Electric Supply. (b) Permit Book (c) Daily log Sheet for DG Sets (x) In case the contractor fails to depute person in shift as asked, then suitable In case the contractor fails to depute person in shift as asked, then suitable recovery shall be made for the same. Panel reovery per shift as catered vide clause 2.1.12 of particular specification shall be recovered in case of operator/ FGM/ Electrician/ technician/ helper found absent from duty for Srl No 01 to 10.

Notes contd....... (xi) The contractor will provide two sets of complete tools and one commando torch, tool bag which will be used by the technicians and Helpers while on duty at the installations. The tools will be returned to the contractor on completion of the contract. The rates for the same are deemed to be includied in the rates quoted. In case of non provison of tools Rs. 20 000.00 will be recovered. (xii) One Mobile Phone alongwith sim card & necessary balance for the manning staff will be provided by the contractor at each installation to keep liaison/ communication with MES staff/ Users and the cost is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (xiii) Contractor is responsible for safe custody of plants and equipments at Electric installations. (xiv) DG Sets shall be operated any time when the main power fails, if operated fails to start the DG set on time penal recovery of Rs 1000 will be recovered. (xv) Diesel required for DG Set shall be issued by the department free for operation. (xvi) Topping up of tranformer with transformer oil, greasing including grease, lubricating including lubricant, watering, cleaning and making level of batteries with elctrolyte topping up of engine oil in DG sets, cleaning and making level of batteries with electrolyte will be carried out by the staff employed. The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. Payment to contractor on account of engagement of trademen/ helper shall be admissible only after receipt of bank receipts of payments for wages made by contractor in favour of trademen/ helper employed.
