Notes for serial item Nos. 1.00 & 5.00: (i) Spare parts replaced shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) The record of servicing shall be maintained by the contractor and shall be produced at the time of payment duly signed by the Users, Engr-in-Charge and Contractor. (iii) The following parts shall be checked and cost shall be included in the quoted rates: (a) Motors- Check terminal conections, slip rings, carbon brushes alignment of motors, couplings, clutches, brake if any tight/adjust if required (b) Wire rope- Check lubrication and number of broken wires. (c) Hook- Check for free rotation of hook, lubrication/greasing/ oiling of moving parts (d) Electrical - Check contactor tips limit switch operating mechanism including connections & testing of LT panel of crane complete . (e) Cleaning of all parts anf rail/wheel of cranes. (f) Checking of all movement i.e. Long travel, Cross travel, lifting and /or any other part(s) as decided by the GE/AGE (g) Visual inspection should include & checking for compliance with specification and/ or condition of all vital componenets as per IS 14470 : 1997 clause 3.2.

Notes for serial item Nos. 7.00 & 10.00: (i) All arrangements of load for load testing and shifting arrangements of load from any distance shall be made by the contractor and quoted rates are deemed to be included for this aspect. (ii) The load testing for LT/CT/hoist motion shall be done in the presence of Users and a rep detailed by the GE. (iii) A performa for load testing of each crane shall be maintained and all the parameters mentioned in the performa shall be tested by the contractor and the record of load testing shall be maintained duly signed by the Users, JE, Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor

Attending complaints of EOT/HOT crane of 10/5 Ton capacity at AF Station Baknaur, of any nature on emergency call given by the Engineer-in-Charge, JEs by providing skilled service engineer/trade mechanic for locating the electrical and mechanical fault and rectification the fault on the same day to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge / GE complete all as specified and as directed

Attending complaints of EOT/HOT crane of 5/2.5/2.0/1.0/0.5 Ton capacity at AF Station Ambala, of any nature on emergency call given by the Engineer-in-Charge, JEs by providing skilled service engineer/trade mechanic for locating the electrical and mechanical fault and rectification the fault on the same day to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge / GE complete all as specified and as directed

Notes for serial item Nos. 12 & 13: (i) Spare parts required for rectification of fault shall be measured and paid separately as supply and fixing in replacement. (ii) The complaints shall be attended by contractor within 48 hours. A penalty of Rs. 500/- per hour shall be recovered /made for non attending the complaint/non rectification of fault beyond 48 hours upto 72 hours, after intimation of concerned JE/AGE in writing. A penalty of Rs. 6000/- per day (for every 24 hours) will be made for non attending the complaint beyond 72 Hours (iii) The contractor will be responsible for providing T & P to the personel deployed, as per requirement for rectifying the fault(s) (iv) If the nature of fault for which rectification is involved comes beuyond the scope of contract, the same shall not be considered for any type of penalty. (v) Site visit by the contractor /service engineer/ mechanic for any number of time required to make EOT crane serviceable condition/ upto satisfaction of user will be considered only one job, cost deemed shall be included in the quoted rate. (vi) Any minor parts which is not included in BOQ but required for satisfactory operation of EOT crane shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate
