Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specifications Clause 201.

Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders of new road with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of road shall be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 7748.00 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 7748.00 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 7748.00 cum, then only 7748.00 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS.

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead , complete as per Technical Specifications Clause 301.

Providing and laying 250 mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading –VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1. Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing, laying 200 mm thick spreading and compacting ( in two layers 100+100 mm) graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.406. (N.S.) Note: - 1. Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade - I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No. 502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and Laying 50 mm thick Compacted bituminous macadam in (BM) in one layer by drum type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade as per clause No. 504 table No. 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.4 % bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required on this account is more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note: - Where there is only BC on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from drum type hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013

Earth work in excavation for retaining wall, toe wall in all type of soils, weathered rock, existing footings, removal of boulders, concrete, ballast, stone etc including protecting the excavated sides, if required, till concreting, bailing out water to keep the area clean and dry during placement of reinforcement and concrete till the concrete sets finally. The item includes the cost of disposal of all spoils, dismantled materials, surplus earth for all leads and lifts as per clause No. 304 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013 and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC below pile cap. The cost of backfilling around the pile cap and restoration of road, if required shall be included (MORT&H 304)

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M15 (aggregate 20mm nominal size) below retaining wall.toe wall, etc. The rate shall include the cost of all labour, material etc complete job including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC as per clause No. 1500 and 1700, 2100 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-35 for construction of retaining wall footing and stem ,Bracket etc. using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43, appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, staging, centering, scaffolding, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, level at site using appropriate method all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel). As per MoRT&H Specification for road and bridges works – 2013 (Vth revision)/ latest edition) (MORT&H 1000,1500,1700 & 2100)

Steel Reinforcement: Supply, cutting, bending with all leads, lifts and depths, fixing in position reinforcement of any diameter, TMT Fe-500 as per relevant BIS specification and drawing in RCC works in retaining wall. The rate shall include cost of all material including galvanizing / epoxy coating tying wire, binding wire, cover block, provision of stools, chairs, spacer bars, overlaps, support bars , labour, transportation, storing and all other incidental charges, tools & plants etc complete. as per clause No. 1600 & 2200 of MORT&H specification 2013 / Latest edition for road and bridges works.

Providing laying and fixing in position reinforced cement concrete Crash Barrier at the edges of the road, approaches to bridge structure and medians, constructed with M-40 grade concrete (Including reinforcement), including centering shuttering and form work etc. conforming to IRC:21 and dowel bars 25mm dia, 450mm long at expansion joints filled with pre-moulded asphalt filler board keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as design given in the enclosure to MOST Circular No. RW/NH-33022/1/94-DO III dt. 24th June 1994, as dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer as per clause No. 811 of MORT&H specification-2013.

Providing weep holes in abutments, return walls etc. complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications Clause 2706.

Painting two coats after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces as per clause 803 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 8.8)

Providing 100 mm dia PVC service pipe of approved quality ISI marked 6 kg. pressure,in Crash Barrier for Electric Cables as per directions of the Engineer.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing and fixing of road stud 100x 100 mm, die-cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30 mm upto a depth of 60 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS 873 part 4:1973

Providing, fixing and erecting 75 mm square steel pipe railing in 2 rows duly painted on medium weight steel channels (ISMC series) 100 mm x 50 mm, 1.2 metres high above ground, 2 m centre to centre, complete as per approved drawingsas ,as per Technical Specifications clause 808.
