(a) Contractors attention is invited to the point that entire requisite quantity of Distemper, Exterior Emulsion paint, primer, synthetic enamel paint as catered in this BOQ shall be brought by the contractor in one go after approval of sample from GE, in sealed manufacturer packing within 15 Days of date of commencement stipulated in work order No 1 and handed over to Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Engineer - in - Charge will keep the material after marking on its container, in safe custody and same will be issued to contractor as per site requirement. Entire quantity of Distemper, Exterior Emulsion paint, primer, synthetic enamel paint etc will be recorded in MB as NOT TO ABSTRACT. Quantity of above said material shall be calculated based on manufacturer instruction and contractor shall submit necessary documentary evidence to EIC in support of consumption of material as per manufacturer instruction

Taking down cement plaster from brick or stone masonry or concrete surfaces and hacking for key and scrubbing down with water etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surface of ceiling, finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces and surface finished even and fair without using extra cement all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces and surface finished even and fair without using extra cement all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls by brooming down or steel wire brushes, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, efflorescent salts etc and applying one coat of white wash all as specified.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of ceiling by brooming down or steel wire brushes, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, efflorescent salts etc and applying one coat of white wash all as specified.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for Preparation of old distempered / decorated surfaces of walls including washing, rubbing down and stopping holes, trading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of Distemper oil emulsion complete as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from old painted surfaces of walls by brooming down or steel wire brushes, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, efflorescent salts etc and applying two coats of Distemper oil emulsion over one coat of primer after applying 3 mm thick cement based wall care putty all as specified.

M&L for preparation of plastered surface of walls and applying two coats of Distemper oil emulsion over one coat of primer, after application of 3mm cement base wall clear putty all as specified & directed. Make for item No 8 to 12:- Asian Paints (Tractor Acrylic Distemper) or equivalent grade of make mentioned Appx 'B'

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from old painted surfaces of walls by brooming down or steel wire brushes, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, efflorescent salts etc and applying two coats of plastic emulsion paint over one coat of primer after applying 3 mm thick cement based wall care putty all as specified. Make:- Asian Paints (Premium emulsion) or equivalent grade of make mention Appx B

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls including pilasters / cornices etc and applying one coat of Acrylic emulsion (exterior weather coat) paint of any tint as approved applied as per manufacturer's instruction complete.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls including pilasters / cornices etc and applying one coat of Acrylic emulsion (exterior weather coat) paint in camouflage pattern (as approved by EIC) of any tints as approved applied as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge.

Make for item No 13 to 17:- Asian Paints (Apex) or equivalent grade of make mention Appx B

M&L for preparation of old painted wooden surfaces, exc 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces, exc 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for Preparation of old concrete surfaces and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on road side kerb surfaces all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for repainting of Nos plaque of 300 mm dia by applying one coat black synthetic enamel paint and rewriting of Nos with one coat white synthetic enamel paint all as specified.

M&L for applying two coats synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces exc 10 cm width or girth, in camouflage pattern (as approved by EIC) of any tints as approved over one coat of red oxide primer complete. Note:- Preparation of surface will be measured & paid separately vide BOQ Item No 23 Make for item No 18 to 22:- Asian Paints (Apcolite premium gloss enamel) or equivalent grade of make mention Appx B

M&L for preparation of old rusted steel surface of any description by removing dust / dirt / oil grease etc and applying one coat water base rust remover / rust convertor / protector solution as per manufacturer's instruction and making the surface rust free complete. Make;- Rustonil FZ 105 (manufactured by Trimurti (India)) or equivalent make as approved by the GE.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of old surface of internal surface of walls including brooming down / steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots and cleaning with water on wall and applying Texture painting by preparation of surface.......

.......by applying a coat of thin layer of acrylic base wall care putty and applying one coat of oil base primer followed by a base coat of textured paint of approved pattern / design as directed by EIC using paint from Royal Play Series of Asian paint or equivalent series from Nerolec / Berger / Dulex all as per manufacture instruction etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In- Charge.
