CIVIL WORKS

Earthwork in excavation in foundation trenches in ordinary soil (vide classification of soil item-A) and disposal of excavated earth as obtained to a distance upto 50 M. including all lifts, levelling, ramming the foudation trenches, removing roots of trees, shrubs all complete as per approved design, building specification and direction of E/l.

Extra for earth work in hard soil as per specification and direction of E/I. (vide classification of soil item - B).

Filling in foundation trenches and plinth in layers not exceeding 150mm thick well watered, rammed, fully compacted and fine dressed with earth obtained from excavation of foundation trenches within a lead of 50Mand lift of 1.5M all complete as per building specification and direction of E/I. (mode of measurement compacted volume)

Providing coarse clean sand in filling in foundation trenches or in plinth including ramming and watering in layers not exceeding 150mm thick with all leads and lifts including' cost of all materials, labour, royalty and taxes all complete as per building specification and direction of E/l (Mode of measurement complacted volume).

Providing designation 75 A one brick flat soling joints filled with local sand including cost of watering taxes royalty all complete as per building specification and direction of E/l.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring and shuttering - All work upto plinth level

Water proofrng for Old and New Roof Slab :- Providing and laying waterprooflng treatment on roof slab by applying two Component, factory a designed ready to use, acrylic modified flexible,material applied with brush, roller or spray for wate proof i n g coating as per manufactlrer specificatio With following steps :-

(a)surface preparation :-Provrding and cleaning of concrete surface to remove dLrst, oil, grease including removal of existing loose paint / coating, and cement laitance by cleaning with compressed air & water jet including all materials, labour, tools complete. Ponding test to be done after plugging all outlets and to be checked from sofftt to identify seepage, leakage. On identiiication of seepage, cement grouting to be done with non shrink expanding admixture of Sika lndia Pvt.Ltd. / MYK Schomberg / Dr Fixit/Fosroc or equrivallent. (b)1st Coat :- Apply 1st coat of two component acrylic modified, ready to use, llexrble cementitious material on surface saturated dry roof and inside wall of Parapet wall upto 600 mm by brush or roller. After 1st coat of application ,45 gsm oI Fibre glass cloth to lay when the first layer is still green. 1st coat should be applied @1.50 kg/SqmUcoat For the fJUrpose of n'ieasurernent tite entire treated surface will be measured."

(c) :2nd Cr:ai :-T,: apply the 2nd coat of two component acrylic modified, reatiy to-use, flexible cementttious material right angle to the '1st coat over the glass fibre liad surface. 2nd coat should be applied @0.7 kgl Sqrnt/coat. For the pltrpose of measurement the entire treated surface will be rneasurecl." (d) Protection of treated surface with PCC- The treated surface should be covered with 25mm/50mm PCC of M-20 grade(1:1.5:3) with proper slope ( '1:120) towards tlre rain outlets in alternatepanels of 2 mt x 2mt keeping 6 mrn gap betuieen the panel joint. lntegralwater proofing admixture conforming to lS 2645 @ of 100 ml per bag of of cement to be added in the scree d concrete(pard separately for thts ltems).-All corners shall be charrmfered with 150mm X 150 mm fillet. The rainwater outlets shall be just leveled with the screed concrete to ensure smooth discharge of water - the peripheral gaps between pvc pipe outlet and concrete surface slrould be packed properly with rich concrete and the peripheral mouih to be sealed with moisture insensitive epoxy putty of Sika lndia Pvt.Ltd / IVIYK Schomberg / Dr FixiUFosroc .For the purpose ofrreasurement the entire treated surface will be measured."
