Rate to incl e dressing the sides andbottom, bailing out of water if encountered, shoring,strutting, backfilling after the construction offoundat n, trenches/plinth beam etccompacting by the sideof the foundation and disposal of surplus excavated earthwithin/outside HPCL's prem es to an unobjectionable place,as directed by the Engineer in Charge including spreading,watering and compaction, complete. The meas ement of theexcavation would be based on actual depth of excavationwith applicable rate for different depths.

The measurement of theexcavation would be based on ctual depth of excavationwith applicable rate for different depths. EXCAVATION INEARTH BETWEEN 3 TO 4.5

EXCAVATION- HARD ROC — cavation for foundation upto required depth belowexisting ground level up to 1.5 m. depth in concrete roadby chiselling / pneumatic illing . Rate to includedressing the sides and bottom, bailing out of water ifencountered, shoring, strutting, backfilling after the obto restore the original state of the ground and disposal ofsurplus excavated earth within/outside HPCL's premises toan unobjection le place, as directed by the Engineer inCharge including curing, watering and compaction andcomplete . The measurement of the excava on would be basedon actual depth of excavation.

Rate t include dressing the sides and bottom,bailing out of water if encountered, shoring, strutting,backfilling after the construction of undation,compacting by the side of the foundation and disposal ofsurplus excavated earth within/outside HPCL's premises toan unobjec onable place, as directed by the Engineer inCharge including spreading, watering and compaction,complete . The measurement of the ex vation would be basedon actual depth of excavation with applicable rate fordifferent depths. EXCAVATION IN HARD ROCK BETWEEN 3 TO 4.

SAND FILLING - LAYER — pply and filling with clean silver / river sand ofapproved quality in layers of 150 mm each includingspreading, compacting by hand r ming and watering etc, allcomplete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Measurementbasis compacted thickness only.

CRUSHEDSTONESAND FIL — pply and filling with Crush Sand as per IS 21116-1980-2 &IS 486:2000 & IS 383.1970 The particle shape is semirounded or cubical & no flakey or elongated. Dustpercentage is strictly controlled 10 - 15% with finenessmodulus 2.6 to 3. Supply and filling with Stone Cru edsand of approved quality in layers of 150 mm each includingspreading, compacting by hand ramming and watering etc, allcomplete as r direction of Engg.-In-Charge. compactedthickness only

MURRUM FILLING - LAY — pplying and filling good quality murum in layers of 150mm thick including watering and compacting till maximumcompaction is achieved s directed by Engineer InCharge.Compacted volume shall be considered for payment.
