Earthwork in excavation in foundation pipeline trenches, drain in saturated soil upto a depth of 0.60 m lift upto 1.50 m including shoring, strutting and pumping/bailing out water stacking the excavated soil not more than 5 m. clear from the edge the excavation and returning the stacked soil in 0.15 m layers when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering and disposing of all surplus excavated soil within a lead upto 20m. Extra for earthwork excavated in saturated soil for every 0.30 m depth or part thereof over 0.60 m depth below water table including pumping and bailing out water as directed by the Departmental Officer upto a depth of 1.80m

Rectification of the old joints of full round RCC pipes including dismantling the existing joints removing the RCC collars. Cleaning the pipe and rejointing the same with cement motor 1:2 (1 Cement : 2 Sand) to true to line and level with jute soked in cement paste including curing hydraulic testing etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer in Charge (300 mm dia FRP).

Earthwork in excavation or de-silting of rivers, nallah, ponds etc, by mechanical means in all types of strata comprising any of the material such as soil, sand, clay, gravel, moorum of all varieties, shingles, peddles, all types of conglomerrates, laterite rock, soft rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated rock, fissured / shattered, decomposed rock and all such other materials either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted, inclusive of chiselling, wedging, etc. but blasting prohibited in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, fould conditions etc. including setting out construction of shoring and strutting removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides of bottom, providing barricading, danger lighting, guarding etc. backfilling the excavated earth to the extent required and disposal of excavated stuff in specified areas with 50m lead and lifts etc. and as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc. all complete.

Clearing jungle including up rooting of rank vegetation grass bush wood trees and sapling of girth upto 30 cm. measured at a height of 1 m above ground level & removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 mt. outside the periphery of the area cleared. (if however, only grass is met with the area will be measured and paid for under item 4001).
