S&F factory made Box type steel window, double shutter(inside & outside), glazed and wire gauzed with side hung shutters including box type hinges, steel handles fabricated type for each leaf duly welded, mild steel barrel tower bolts 150mm size (02 Nos for each leaf) duly welded, complete with glazing bars dovetailed or welded including MS fillets, including supply & fixing of 4mm thick sheet glass, GI wire cloth 0.56mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.00mm & MS grill of 8mm squre bar complete all as specified & directed. Notes: - (i) Windows shall be fabricated as per drawing No. TD-219 Sh 1/3 to 3/3 and these drgs may be referred from GE office or from the office of CWE (AF) Ambala. The window having nomenclature "XFW3" in drawing shall be executed at site. In case of any dispute direction of GE shall be final & binding. (ii) Glazing, Wire cloth, MS grill, Painting etc. are included in quoted rates and nothing extra shall be paid for window, apart from this item. (iii) Window shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over & including one shop coat red oxide primer. (iv) Double shutter meant for providing glazed shutter as well as wire gauged shutter on outside & inside of the frame respectively. Both the shutters shall be measured as one unit. (v)Steel window shall comply with IS 1038-1983 &. Rolled steel sections for fabrication shall conform to IS 7452-1990

M&L 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, type C-1, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection finished even and smooth without using extra cement with & including 10mm wide, 30mm deep joints at the rate of 3.00 mtr centre to centre and at every turning & filling the joints with bitumen & sand mixture complete all as specified & directed. Notes :- (i) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for providing the concrete in alternate bays not exceeding 3 Mtrs length. (ii) 30 mm deep joints between the bays shall be provided which shall be filled with mastic filling with hot bitumen 85/25 grade and 1:2 mix volume. (iii) Plinth protection shall be of width as directed and shall be laid to slope of 1:3

(iii) All necessary arrangements i.e. co-ordination with the manufacturer & testing officer, arranging equipments and material to facilitate testing at the manufacturer’s premises etc. shall be borne by the contractor.

Notes for BOQ item No. 49 & 50 :- (i) The drawings in respect of VCB shall be approved by Accepting Officer through GE and as & when requested by contractor before placing order to manufacturer (ii) VCB shall be tested by representative of Accepting Officer at factory premises before dispatch as & when requested by contractor. (iii) The testing & commissing of the VCB shall be carried out in presence of Electrical Inspector as & when requested by contractor. (iv) The cost of all above factors deemed to be included in quoted rates.

M&L earthing complete with using GI strip 50mm x 6mm as earth lead and GI pipe earth electrode 80mm bore medium grade, 3.8 mtr in long with threaded cap on top. Pipe shall be welded with 50mm x 10mm flat iron 'L' shape of size 114mm in length from pipe at depth of 150mm from top of the pipe. Pipe electrode shall be cut tapered at the bottom and provided with 12mm holes on two faces at 75mm interval on centre to centre. The first hole shall be at 700mm below the welded flat and last hole shall be at the bottom end of the pipe. The excavation for earthing to be made with size 1100mm x 1100mm and 925mm in depth from ground level(GL). Further excavation in depth shall be 300mm x 300mm and depth 3.125 mtr below 925mm from GL (total depth in earthing shall be 4.05 mtr). The electrode shall be burried in the ground vertically with its top not less than 100mm below GL and its bottom at depth of 3.9 mtr. The layer of 150mm thick PCC 1:2:4 shall be laid at depth 830mm from GL. The earthing shall be filled with alternate layers of coke 450mm and common salt 150mm. The 50mm x 10mm GI Bracket (in 'C' shape used as earth busbar for interconnection) shall be grouted in brick walls with rag nuts and bolts at depth 80mm GL. The GI bracket shall minimum 8 holes for M14 bolts for interconnection with GI strip. The Earthing Pit chamber of internal size 600mm x 600mm shall be made with bricks work 1:4 from PCC layer of 75mm above GL. The earth pit chmaber shall have grooves for placing covers. The earth pit chamber shall have 6 mm thick MS chequered plate cover including 12mm round bar for handle with SS nut, bolts/washer etc as per drawing of IOCL and as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-charge in charge. Note : (i) The earth result should be less than 1.0 ohm and will be checked in the presence of Engineer-in-charge. (ii) The rate for GI strip 50mm x 6mm of Two Runs upto 7.5 mtr in length is incuded in quoted rate. (iii) Necessary Earth work, PCC, formwork, Brick work etc. shall included in quoted rates.

M&L earthing GI strip 50mm x 6mm on FRP insulator fixed on wall/MS sheet/floors/in trenches including connecting to earthing/test point, strip should be brazed/welded at each joint complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning of HT XLPE cable(heavy duty), 11000 volts (earthed), insulated, screened, sound compacted aluminium conductor, screening with extruded semi conducting layers, insulation screening with copper tape covers laid up with PVC (ST-2), extruded inner sheathed GI strip armoured PVC (ST-2) out sheathed, ISI marked with IS-7098 Part II upto date, cross sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3 core, laid in trenches/ducts or fixed with along poles/ wall etc complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) Cable shall be of manufacturing date not earlier than Jun 2023. All the cable shall be embossed with year of manufacturing, meterage at every metre, in addition to its own standard markings as per IS i.e. Size, voltage etc. (ii) Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning, protection pipes, end termination joints & protection covers shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) No straight through joint shall be permitted in less than single drum length.

M&L boring of holes under road, pavement, hardstanding for passing/crossing pipes/cables upto size 100mm dia/bore at suitable depth (not below than 1mtr) by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique & Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) machine complete without damaging the surface and removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr complete all as specified & directed. Notes : Location of boring holes shall be decided by the Engineer-in-charge as per requirement, nothing extra shall be payable on account of variation in length of crossing of road etc. During boring soil strata may be changed, hence nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor for boring of holes through different strata/different type of soil. Pipe/Cable shall be measured & paid seperately.

M&L galvanized steel tubing 100 mm bore light garde (ISI marked) for protection of cable fixed to pole/walls or laid in floors/trenches, road crossing ducts with all necessary fittings and fixed with clamps, bolts, nuts and washers etc complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing LT cable 1100 volts grade, stranded copper XLPE insulated PVC inner sheathed strip armoured confirming to IS 7098(part-I) upto date, heavy duty Aluminum conductor cross sectional area 300 Sqmm 1 core laid in trenches, ducts, through pipes, floor, or fixed on poles/wall complete all as specified & directed.

S&F LT panel weather proof Indoor type double door fabricated out of 2.00 mm thick CRCA sheet with epoxy powder coating of RAL-7035 (Siemens grey) shade with matt finish with seven tank pre treatment process.The panel shall be fabricated by CPRI approved manufacturer only.The panel shall be compartmentized designed totally enclosed , dust & vermin proof, confirming to degree of protection IP-55, gasket between all adjacent units and beneath all covers shall be provided to render the joint dust proof. All doors and covers shall be provided with cyllendrical panel locked and shall be fully gasketed with neoprene rubber and shall be lockable.The panel shall be provided with Copper bus bars of 1600 amp rating .The bus bars and interconnecting links shall be insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeve with RYB and black colour coding.The bus bar shall be supported on unbreakable,non hygroscopic, SMC insulated supports at sufficiently close interval to prevent bus bars sag and shall be housed in a dedicated compartment.The panel shall be prewired with FRLS PVC insulated coper conductors cables of suitable size properly tagged and secured. All joints and connection shall be done with galvanised or cadium plated high tensile nuts bolts and washers . The panel shall be provided with digital multifunction meter with cast resign CTs & RYB LED indicating lamps at incoming. The cost of same is deemed to be included quoted rates.

M&L concealed sub main wiring with two single core FRLS, PVC insulated, unsheathed cable,1100 volts grade, 4 sqmm nominal cross sectional area stranded copper conductor and one single core green FRLS, PVC insulated, unsheathed 4 sqmm stranded copper conductor as earth continuity cable drawn through in & including non metallic rigid PVC conduit heavy grade not less than 25mm bore including accessories concealed in wall/floors/roof etc including cutting chases in wall/ceiling and making good the disturbed surfaces to match with existing surface complete all as specified & directed. Note :- Two runs of 4 sqmm cable alongwith one run of 4 sqmm cable as earth wire alongwith conduit shall be measured as one unit. The cost of cutting of chases wherever required shall deemed to included in quoted rates.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm X 60cm, 6mm thick buried directly vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of Charcoal dust & common salt filled in alternate layers and electrode connected to GI earth lead wire 4.00mm dia upto 7.5mtr long by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and connection to earthing test point & earth dolly and including watering pipe medium grade GI 20mm bore 1.5 mtr long & protection pipe light grade GI 15mm bore upto 7.5 mtr long, including wire mesh, funnel, lugs, salt, charcoal dust, excavation in soft/losse soil, returning filling & removal of surplus soil upto 50mtr, pit chamber shall be of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded mechnically crushed stone aggregates and pit cover slab 50mm thick shall be of Precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechnically crushed stone aggregates reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4Kg/sqm including necessary form work complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I, including testing on completion at site complete all as specified & directed. Notes :- Any variation in length of earth lead and protection pipe of earth lead shall be adjusted through Deviation order. On testing if the earth resistance is not obtained, earthing will be generated at no extra cost ,till the desired earth resistance is obtained. The chamber shall be constructed atleast 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode.
