Consultancy services of soil investigation for Pron of AAGs,watch tower and road, and Security Infra at site 1A and 1B of 33 SU at AF Stn Jodhpur

To carry out complete soil investigation for “Provn of watch tower and road with allied work services at new underground OPS room of 33 SU at Air Stn Jodhpur” by standard penetration test (SPT) by drilling one bore holes up to depth of 10.00M. The detailed report required in triplicate which includes the following:- (a) Bore log data upto10.00 M depth. (b) SPT test result at every 1.50 M up to 10.0M depth or N value achieved More than 50.0 whichever is earlier. (c) Water table lowest and highest. (d) Swelling Soil - BC soil for assessment of required parameters must be done. (e) Determination of SBC as per relevant IS. Following are laboratory tests of required parameters must be done:- (a) Natural Moisture Content Tests (IS : 2720, 1992 Part 2). (b) Grain size Analysis (IS : 2720, 1992 Part 4). (c) Atterberg's limit test ( IS : 2720, 1992 Part 5, 1992). (d) Specific gravity test ( IS : 2720, 1992 Part 3, 1992). (e) Free swell index test (IS : 2720, 1992 Part 40., 1977). (f) Swell pressure test (IS : 2720, 1992 Part 41, 1977). (g) Dry density & Moisture content (IS : 13030 1991). (h) Specific gravity (IS 1122-1974). (j) Unconfined Compressive strength of Rock (IS : 9143-1979). (k) Triaxial Shear Test (UU) (IS: 2720 Part-11, 1992).

The detailed report required in triplicate which includes the following:- (a) Bore log data up to 10.00 M depth. Ditto all as per item No-2 but the depth up to 6.00 M.

TRIAL PIT for ”Addn /Altn /Improvement to security infrastructure at site 1A & 1B of 33 SU at Air Force Stn Jodhpur”. The pit shall be excavated up to minimum 3.0m deep or up to the top of the rock layer or up to Ground Water Level (GWL) whichever occurs earlier, having size 2.5mx2.5m at top up to 2.00m followed by 1.5mx1.5m beyond 2.0m till termination depth. Test pits shall be logged by a Geotechnical Engineer or a Geologist in the field. Representative bulk samples shall be obtained from each layer or different depths for compaction, bulk grain size analysis, and other applicable testing. Trial pits shall be backfilled with available soil in layers not exceeding 300mm and thoroughly compacted to near in-situ ground conditions. Trial pits shall be fenced off until it has been backfilled and reinstated.

Geotechnical investigation/ Soil investigation for “Provn of works services for installation of AAGs at Air Force Stn Jodhpur” by any method including mobilization of all tools and plants required for soil exploration , collection of disturbed, undisturbed samples in 75 mm dia thin wall tube sample from each locations, conducting suitable laboratory/on site tests for Physical soil properties, soil classification, swelling properties, water table depth, frost line depth. The soil report should also contain recommendation for compaction, excavation stability and structural fill.
