CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN & DRGS FOR RENOVATION/REPAIR OF COMPOUND WALL OF KV NO 1 AT AF STN HALWARA 1. Prepration and submission of self sufficent structural designs & drawings including strictural details, structrual notes conforming to standards IS-456, IS-816, IS-875, IS-1893, IS-2062, IS 4326, IS- 13920 and any other latest and relevant indian standard of the building as per the arch drg provided. The parameters for structural design are as under:- (a) Boundary wall with RCC Column and Footing. (b) Wall consist of brickwork with plinth beam at GL. (c) height from GL will be 3 mtr with Y neck consisting of barbed wire and concentrina coil. 2. The design shall include the following parameters :- (a) Reinforcement steel shall Fe-500/500D grade TMT bars. The grade of concrete shall be M-25 (design Mix). (b) Foundation shall be RCC isolated/combined footing/Raft/Mat fdn as per requirement. (c) Sesmic Zone - as per Area/Loacation Zone. (d) SBC (Tentative) 9.00 T/Sqm (Tentative) at 1.5/2.0m depth. The actual SBC shall be given respectively by GE a later stage. The designer shall change the foundation detail after actual SBC is provided. No Extra claim shall be given for the same. 3. Supply of design calucations folder alongwith STAAD output file both in hard and soft copy-01(Copy each). 4. Design shall be vetted by CWE (AF) Ambala Cantt. 5. Supply of 01 set of original tracing hard copy (A1 size ) on 'Gateway' brand tracing paper alongwith a soft copy of drawings, as directed. The design prepared by one designer and both the persons shall sign the design calculations and drawings alongwith date. 6. The supplier shall give free of cost clarification, if any, during complete execution period of the building. 7. Any ammendement required during execution shall be made by the consltant and requisite copies of amended sheets shall be submitted free of cost. 8. The consultant/designer shall discuss the preliminary designing & drawing before final structural design & drawings in consultation and joint inspection on site with GE (AF) Halwara. 9.The responsibility for the structural desing & drawings prepared rests with the supplier. In Case of any defect/ damage detected in the structure during, its design olife and the same is attributed to faulty drawing/design, the supplier will be liable for penalty of 10% of the total project cost. 10. Third party vetting/proof checking. The supplier shall be responsible for third party vetting / proof checking form IITs/NITs/other Govt Institue duly signed by auhorised signatory (structural designer only) on behalf of the institute and not form a professor/ individual of the institute in his personal capcaity . The third party vetting the designs, & drawings shgall also be liable for ensuring that the desings & drawings are in compliance as per the laid down standards, regulation, adherence to NBC norms and sound enginneirng practices. The bidder is responsible for obtaining clarification form the vetting agency till the completion of project. 11. The certificate that all details have been thoroughly checked and are in compliance ot standards, codes, regulations in respect of safety, soundness and ecomomy shall be obtained form the vetting agencies. 12. The bidder on being issued the Job Order shall send his design team to GE (AF) Halwara to discuss and finalize the design parameters and obtain clarifications on any architectural and design issues. The date of visit of the bidder's design team shall be decided in consultation with the GE (AF) Halwara. 13. On prepration of the design folder and preliminary structural drawings, the bidder shall send his design team to make a detailed power point presentaiton of the structural design and drawings to the E6 Section of HQ CWE (AF) Ambala Cantt The date of presentation by the bidder's design team shall be decided in consultation with the E2 Section. 14. The final structural drawings duly vetted by authorities as mentioned in the BOQ shall be submitted to the E2 Section by the bidder's design team and the bidder's team should come prepared to make any corrections/ ammendements to the same if required in consultation with E2 Section. 15. The bidder's team shall have to visit the GE (AF) Halwara at any time during the planning and execution of the work if required, on being intimated in writing by E2 Section of HQ CWE (AF) Ambala Cantt. 16. Nothing extra shall be payable for the above visits of bidder's design team to HQ CWE (AF) Ambala Cantt/GE (AF) Halwara. NOTE:- (Line Plan is enclosed herewith).
