Overhauling, Testing, and Servicing of 220 kV Gantry Motorized Isolators The work includes complete servicing, cleaning, testing, and maintenance of 220 kV Gantry Motorized Isolators. The main contacts shall be cleaned properly to remove old grease, oxidation, and inspected for any damage. Fresh conductive grease shall be applied on contacts and lubrication shall be carried out on all moving parts, joints, linkages, and hinges. Blade alignment shall be checked and adjusted for proper closing, contact engagement, and required pressure. Support insulators shall be inspected and cleaned to remove dust and pollution deposits. Motor Operating Mechanism (MOM) box shall be cleaned, terminals checked, and space heater operation verified. Local/remote operation, limit switches, auxiliary contacts, and safety interlocks shall also be checked to ensure smooth and reliable operation. The work shall be carried out under the supervision of the Engineer-in-Charge as per applicable IS/IEC standards and approved maintenance practice.
