Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of ECO friendly diesel engine driven water cooled generating set of capacity 30 KVA / 24 KW, 415 volts, AC supply, 50 HZ, 3 phase 4 wire, 0.8 PF at NTP, speed 1500 RPM mounted on common base plate with flexible coupling and meeting the requiements of IS-4722/BIS specificaiton with CPCB approved accoustic enclousres fabricated out CRCA sheet 2 mm thick and structual sheet metal base frame. Sound proofing of enclouser is done with high quality foam conforiming to IS 8183 of 25 mm thickness and density 30 Kg /M3 complete including PCC foundation in all respect complete as per manufactures recommendations. (a) Diesel engine : Water cooled diesel engine of adequate capacity at 1500 RPM generally in accordance with latest BIS/IS specifacition provided with blower fan ,12 volts self starting including maintenance free battery of suitable capacity ,charging dynamo/alternator ,air cleaner ,diesel /oil filters complete in all respect . The engine shall be capable of taking 10% overload for one hour for every 12 hours of running confirming to the enviroment (protection act 1986) (29 of 1986) and as amended vide Gazette of India Notificaitons Part -II Section -III sub Section (I) dated 12 Jul 2004 and latest CPCB norms. (b) Engine Instructions panel: All relevant information shall be displayed on a complete panel for easy monitoring of lubricant, oil pressure, battery charging, ammeter, hours meter, starting switch etc. (c) Fuel tank: In built fuel tank of adequate capacity with stop cock, drain plug and nessery fuel pipe complete as per manufactures recommendaitons . (d) Altrnator: 30 KVA / 24 KW at NTP, 3 phase, 50 HZ, 415 volts, AC supply, copper wound, 0.8 PF at 1500 RPM , this shall be self excited screen protected and drip proof type bruchless ,confirming to relevant IS/BIS code as per latest manufacturing schedule

CONTROL PANEL: The standard control panel shall be built in acoustic enclosures with the following accessories complete wired with suitable size of copper cables. (i) MCCB of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protection. (ii) Digital ammeter (iii) Digital voltmeter (iv) One set of indicating LED lamps RYB and fuse (v) Frequency meter, RPM meter, Hour meter, fuel level indicator (vi) KWH meter electronic tamper proof digital for 3 phase 415 volts AC unbalanced load of suitable capacity (vii) Water temprature oil pressure gauge (viii) AMF: The panel is based on microprocessor type shall be with AMF controller suitable to start the engine on main failure after 10-15 second delay and to switch off engine only after 60-90 seconds after the main supply restored. The AMF controller shall have under/ over voltage, overload protection, coolant temp cut off, fuel control upto 10% tank capacity. The panel shall also have one change over switch and switch gears of suitable capacity to bypass main supply when the AMF control becomes defective. Note: The gen set must be affixed with label meeting the following requirements (The label shall be durable and legible) (1) Name and address of the engine manufacturer (2) Statement that this engine conforms to the environment protection (3)Type and approval certificate number (4) Date of manufacture of gen set

(f) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Accoustic enclosure is made out of CRCA sheet and ISMC base frame painted. The walls of enclosures will be insulated with rockwool so to canopy with 75 dba at 1mtrs sound leveled by ministry of environment and forest. The wall of enclosure will be insulated as per manufacturer's recommendatios with the following:- (i) Fitting arrangment (ii) Point for neutral and body earthing (iii) Lub oil drainage (iv) Air breather (v) Hood or rain protection (vi) Easy stop push button (vii) Panel meter viewing window (viii) Tube light fitting of suitable wattage Note: (a) DG set should be sound proof as per latest policy. (b) First filling of Engine Oil and fuel etc should be arranged by the contractor. (c) There shall be proper air circulation and glass window in the acoustic enclosures suitable located to read the meters of various control form outside. (d) Necessary overload test shall be carried out in the presence of testing officer nominated by Accepting Officer. (e) Shifting of DG set from factory to work site by means of truck/ crane is deemed included in quoted rates. (f) Platform for DG set shall be of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate size of platform shall be of (size of DG set + 200mm extra on all sides) and 400mm height. (g) Contractor shall submit the CPCB compliance report/ certificate of DG set, BIS certificate for diesel engine, wiring diagram, manufacturer test report etc.

Supply, laying and testing of LT UG cable, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 50 sqmm, 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earthwork (Excavation, Returning & Re-filling and Removal), sand cushioning, cable protection cover shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BOQ.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m and n.exc 1.5 deep in any type of soil for laying of underground cable, foundation of poles & stays etc and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for good quality dry sand cushioning to underground electric cable of layer of 8cm thick before laying the cable and second layer of 15cm thick after laying the cable all as specified in clause 19.75 of MES Schedule PartI (2009) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Sand shall be fined sand and punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Material & labour for sub class 'B' bricks well burnt of size laid dry flat for protection of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Electrical insulating rubber mats 1mx2mx19mm thick according to the IS 5424:1969 Standard, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected with galvanized iron earth lead strip of 32x6mm by means of nuts, bolts, checknuts, and washers of galvanized iron or steel complete with 40mm dia GI medium grade protection pipe, 20mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe with funnel including charcoal, dust, salt, PCC 1:2:4 in pit with 40mm thick pre-cast RCC 1:2:4 cover reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/ Sqm, test point etc all shown in electric plate No 3 of SSR Part-I complete with necessary earth work in any type of soil, removal to a distance not exc 50m, testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Earth lead and protection pipe length upto and including 7.5m is deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (b) Earth filling shall be done by vegetable soil. (c) Soil shall be free from stone, boulders, aggregate, gravels.
