Maintenance of Command swimming pool of size of 50 mtr x 21 mtr and of capacity 7,50,000 gallons, combined diving and swimming basin, diving basin of depth 18ft, swimming pool of basic depth varies from 4ft, 6ft, 8ft and to meet to the desired level of cleanliness by adding the chemicals such as poly electrolyte/ poly aluminum chloride (PAC) and non ferrous alum as coagulant/ settling aids, soda ash, Muriatic Acid, Sodium Bi-sulphate, Sodium Bicarbonate as PH controller, Calcium Chloride as calcium control, Cyan uric Acid or Isocyanurate as FRC stabilizer, chlorinal/ High tech hypo chloride (H -T-H)/ chlorine gas as dis-infection, Sodium Theo sulphate as neutraliser ........

......and other algaecides chemical through the respective dozing system with adequate quantity, desired occultation and cleaning of swimming pool side walls, side gutter by pool cleaner and cleaning of bottom including deep , slope surface by under water cleanerand removing sediment particle from bottom by using suction sweeper and top up the water at required intervals of time and without disturbing the swimming pool schedule of operation, quality of water to be checked frequently, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Notes: The rate quoted is inclusive of the following :-

(i) T&P such as necessary equipments for under water cleaner, breathing arrangements shall be provided by the contractor. (ii) Supply only Chemicals will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ. (iii) Following water standard parameters to be maintained on pool round the clock and parameter (a to f) to be checked and conformed on daily basis and rest of all to be conformed on monthly basis, test cost shall be deemed to be included in above quoted rate. a) FRC 1 – 2 ppm b) PH 7.2 – 7.6 c) Turbidity 0 – 10 NTU d) hardness of water e) stabilizer concentration (CYA) 20 – 60 ppm f) Biological test (B – coli) less then 2

(iv) Maintenance of chloronome plant gravity panel of any type 0.60 Kgs per hour for chlronating the water, testing of leakages, rectifying the leakages and attending to minor repairs, with and including replacement of minor spares of chloronome plant for smooth functioning without any breakdown at command swimming pool & BPH Naval Base complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(v) Swimming pool water quality testing, parameters for testing are CYA, biological test complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vi) Test sample shall be taken from pool and test to be carried out with in one hour. (vii) Test to be carried out and certified by qualified analyst of NABLAB/ from public health lab / Andhra University

Supply only chlorinal/ Sodium hypo chloride (H-T-H) 13.5% (+/-1% tolerance) make shall be approved by Accepting officer

Supply only of stabilizer (cynoric acid/ Iso cynorite (CYA), available chlorine 98.53%, moisture 0.32%, PH value 1% solution 4. make shall be approved by Accepting officer

Supply only of inorganic poly aluminium chloride (PAC), chloride % (W/W) 31.0+/-2.0, sulphate % >10.0, Heavy metal nil, specific gravity 0.75+/- 0.1 for water treatment/ floc formation make shall be approved by Accepting officer

Supply only chlorine gas in 100 Kgs cylinders to gravity feed gaseous chloronome plant all as directed. Note :- Testing the cylinder and repairs to outlet valve of cylinders will be the responsibility of the contractors and cost for applying mineral jelly to parts etc, deemed to be included in the cost quoted by the contractor. make shall be approved by Accepting officer

Supply only TCCA 90% Chlorine (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid), effective content of chlorine % : ≥90, content of water % : ≤0.5, PH Value of 1% Solution : 2.7 to 3.3, Granular Chlorine/Tablet in packing of 50 kg complete all as specified and directed. make shall be approved by Accepting officer

Supply and replace nylon brushes for suction sweeper as per existing size and make complete all as directed

Supply and replacement self reinforced PVC 50 mm dia helifier hose in suction sweeper pump , including making leak proof joints complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and replace spare parts for chloronorm plant gravity feed as per sample including taking down the unserviceable spare parts of the Chloronation plant complete all as directed

Repair/ servicing of dial type water level indicator by replacing wornout central movement plate, counter weight, centre diving wheels etc., and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.
