REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT, EXTERNAL WALL PLASTER, RAIN WATER PIPES ETC IN TECHNICAL/ ADM AREA AT AFA HYDERABAD

Taking down existing tar felt, water proofing membrane etc of any description, any type including loose plastering / screed , padding concrete etc if any and removing all loose particles with wire brushes, removing bitumen coating over original RCC slab by grinding, picking, , grinding of mother concrete slab to make surface smooth suitable for applying PU waterproofing coat as per manufacturer's instructions, including removal of debris to a distance exceeding 1.5 km but not exceeding 5KM complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position on roofs including removal of debris complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc all as specified and directed.

M&L 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on stone masonry wall surfaces or on other than fair faces of brick masonary finished fair and even mixed with Liquid water proofing compound of FOSROC Nitobond SBR at 2% by weight of cement or with equivalent products of Pidilite, Dr fixit Super Latex / Asian paints/ M/s M C Bauchemic / CIPY/ SIKA / Thermax / STP as approved by GE, to be applied as per manufacturer’s instructions.(Supply only of admixure will be measured and paid separately).

M & L for preparing new plastered or unplastered surfaces on walls including cornices and applying two coat of cement base paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for PCC 1 : 2 : 4 type B-0 ( using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) mixed with water proofing liquid as in padding on roofs to maintain slope as in correction layer of the depressed/ undulated portions and in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges etc., finishing the cement concrete even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Supply only water proofing liquid will be measured and paid separately under respective item only).

Supply only of Liquid water proofing compound FOSROC Nitobond SBR at 2% by weight of cement or with equivalent products of Pidilite, Dr fixit Super Latex / Asian paints/ M/s M C Bauchemic / CIPY/ SIKA / Thermax / STP as approved by GE.

M&L screed bed or bedding layer of mortar, 15 mm thick, in cement mortar 1:4, over RCC roof slabs for laying water proofing treatment complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for water proofing treament to walls and on Chajjas / Sunshades as under:- (i) Preparation of surfaces of walls and on chajjas / sunshades over walls above chajja up to 900 mm and up to 600 mm on either side of chajja width, picking, sweeping, cleaning and washing down with water to remove all loose particles, dust etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Surface shall be moist by sprinkling water. (ii) Applying FOSROC Brushbond Wall guard / roofguard minimum 3 layers or equivalent product of Asian Paints, / M/s MC Bauchemie / CIPY/ SIKA / Pidilite Dr Fixit/ Thermax / STP as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

M&L for cutting out cracks to V-section upto 5 to 10 mm wide over existing RCC roofs or terracing, cleaning out, grouting with Dr Fixit PU sealant or equivalent.

Preparation of surfaces by sweeping cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust and loose particles over RCC slab for providing roof treatment, removal of unserviceable debris to outside MD land, and applying bitumen primer @0.30kg/sqm providing and laying 4mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane weight not less than 4.0 kg/sqm reinforced with non woven polyster mat weight not less than 160gm/sqm having softening point not less than 140 Degree centigrade longitudinal tensile strength not less than 800N per 5cm tearing strength of 180N (by torch application method) with minimum of 100mm side lap and 150mm end laps by application of torch. Applying a coat blown grade hot bitumen 90/15 over the membrane @ 1.20kg/sqm and applying a coat of silar reflective bitumenous aluminium paint @ 0.1Kg/sqm all as specified and as per manufacturr's instructions. The membrane shall be inserted in to the wall /parapet wherever required. mouth of rainwater pipes, gutters shall be properly treated to avoid ingress of the water. Note: (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be included for dismantling and refixing of PVC water tanks hoisted on roof, taking down and refixing of water tubing and any other fittings on roof as required and no extra shall be paid. (ii) The work shall be carried out complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and application methodology. Execution to be done with authorised trained / skilled applicator of manufacturer as per technical guidance laid by manufacturer. Company guarantee to be given by contractor after completion of water proofing work before payment.

Demolition of RCC of any description , any grade as in water tanks on roof including bases etc.

S & F in repair PVC (SWR) pipes of 110mm dia single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls / floor incl taking down old pipes of any description complete all as specified and as directed
