| .01NOTE:1) Debris generated from this work shall be disposed off by the contractor outside departmental premises by mechanical transport etc without any extra cost to the department and/or as instructed by Engineer-In-charge. During execution of work Contractor should maintain proper safety measures and provide proper insurance coverage to all work men to be engaged in this work. Contractor should quote rates accordingly. 2) Bidders must visit the site before submission of tender. 3) Above mentioned work will be executed at Bidhannagar campus of VECC. Bidders are requested to quote rates accordingly. 4)Rate of each item shall be inclusive of all kind of cost, manpower, materials, tools & tackles, scaffolding at all level., taxes & duties including GST. No extra payment will be paid over quoted rate. Contractor should quote rates accordingly. 5) Contractor has to be very careful so that no nuisance is created or users are not disturbed during execution of the work. Labours engaged should be well behaved/good mannered. 6) All sand to be used for this job should be coarse sand duly screened unless specifically mentioned. 7) Plaster on repaired surface shall match with existing surface. 8) Security regulation and rules of DAE shall be strictly followed during deployment of materials and work force. The work should be done satisfying all safety aspects and insurance coverage, PPE’S such as safety shoe, helmet with chin strap, safety belts, safety goggles, welding shields, gloves, vici wear etc. are compulsory for all workers. Safety nets are to be provided as directed. 9) Copies of challan for the materials brought inside VECC Campus shall be submitted for reference & record of the department. 10) Time schedule as mentioned in NIT shall be strictly adhered to. The work should be carried out even on extended time period if required and for that special permission has to be obtained from competent authority. 11) Contractor shall include cost towards testing in their rate. Hence all testing charges are to be borne by the contractor. 12) The tentative/suggested makes have been specified in the tender document based on requirements of VECC, desired performance, detailed study of the technical parameters, manufacturing process, quality assurance/control & testing. The list is merely for guidance purpose. However, the bidder(s) can prefer any other make(s) which is/are meeting technical specifications given in the Appendix-'A' of Specification of Civil Works- 2023, DCSEM and shall conform to the technical parameters/performance of the tentative/suggested makes and/ or shall conform to the relevant BIS codes or other relevant codes. All fabricated structural steel shall be painted with epoxy protective paint of approved make minimum 2 coats and 150 micron dry film thickness of approved colour after surface preparation by sand blasting. 1) All fabrication including welding shall be carried out in the factory only and no site fabrication will be permitted. 2) Detailed design and Drawings, shop drawings shall be prepared by the contractor through specialised pre engineered building agency/experienced consultant and submitted for approval and detailed design report, Loading details / reactions shall be given for design assesment. 3) Conceptual aesthetically pleasing supporting system shall be worked out and submitted for approval before proceeding detailed design.
Supplying, fabricating, testing, transporting, handling and erecting at required positions and levels metal roofing/ wall and canopy roofing including flashings and insulation etc. as per approved drawings and design complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including all consumables comprising of the following: Double skin insulated standing seam roofing system comprising of 0.50 mm thick colour coated / bare Al-Zinc Alloy coated steel 0.50 mm with overall width of 400 to 500mm by seaming for 100% water tightness on outer face and 0.50 mm thick inner linear sheet with galvalume sheet profile and physical material properties as specified. These sheets shall be fixed on specially reinforced polyamide or acetylyte anti friction di electric brackets at every location for permitting unhindered, free sheet movement at all required locations. The profile shall have a special in built drainage joint at side laps to make it fully watertight even in fully submerged condition. It shall have overall depth of 100 mm from horizontal after fixing. The side laps shall be of interlocking type without requirement of any mechanical seamer. Insulation: This shall be comprising of two layers of rockwool insulation each of 50 mm thick with density of 48 kg / Cu. M. Sub Grit (Top Hat) 1.5 mm thick Glavanised steel hat section fixed to main purlins, above first layer of insulation, to support the aluminium sheets. Inner linear sheet of 0.50 mm nominal TCT of physical material properties as specified. Vapour Control layer : The vapour contol layer to reduce the movement of water vapour from inside the building through the roof construction to reduce the risk of condensation shall consists of 3 layer membrane to be laid continuous across its surface shall be fully sealed at laps, perimeters, penetrations to ensure effectiveness & aluminium foil of 0.50mm thick laid over insulation board.

Providing and Fixing in position Suspended false ceiling system using 600 x 600mm Calcium Silicate Ceiling tiles. Tiles having 15mm densified edges and 100% humidity resistance, incombustible as per BS476 part IV with thermal conductivity of 0.043 w/m KC and approved surface design and edge profile (TEGULAR/ SPINTONE) placed in a suspended grid of size of 600 x 600mm made of hot-dipped G.I steel sections having an exposed surface capping of pre-finished baked polyester painted coil wherein the main tee of size 24mm x 38mm x 0.33mm shall be suspended at 1200 mm centres along the length of ceiling with 4mm dia G.I wire with necessary level adjusters and cross tees of size 24 x 28 x0.33mm x 1200 mm shall be inserted in to slots between the main tees at 600mm centres and thereafter in direction vertical to the longer tees, cross tees of size 24 x 28 x 0.33mm x 600mm shall be inserted to form a grid size of 600 x 600 mm resting on the perifery walls on wall angles of size 20mm x 20mm x 3000 mm x 0.40 mm thickness. The rate shall include providing necessary openings for light fixtures, diffusers, trap doors etc to be made as per layout drawings.
