REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF OLD DEFECTIVE OH LINES, LT PANELS, CABLE AND ALLIED WORKS AT DAD KANNUR UNDER GE (ARMY) TRIVANDRUM

Excavating in trenches in hard/dense soil, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth; for laying of LT UG cable, pipe, pole, stay etc and not exceeding 10 sq.m on plan including taking out and removal of old bricks laid over for protection of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches in soft disintegrated rock, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and exceeding 1.5 Mtr and not exceeding 3 Mtr in depth; for laying of LT UG cable, pipe, pole, stay etc and not exceeding 10 sq.m on plan including taking out and removal of old bricks laid over for protection of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in using soil obtained from excavation including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, multi stranded 1100 volts grade, laid in trench, fixed on wall/pole drawn through pipe etc including taking down the existing and provn of lugs and testing for cable of size 10 Sqmm, 4 Core complete all as specified and directed

All as per Sl No. 5.00 here-in-before, but cable of size 16 Sqmm, 4 Core complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting the existing Bituminous/Hard standing road surface for laying of cable /GI Pipe etc and providing Plain Cement concrete, 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for filling up the area of road cutting surfaces and making good the disturbed surface with existing surface and all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation earth work and PCC will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M&L for sand filling with natural riddled soil as earth cushioning to cable by using IS sieve to separate the composite particle/roots etc and refilling in trenches and compacted in layers to form a solid bed covering to cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sub class 'B' bricks old size, laid dry flat over the cable abutting each other, length of cable equal to width of brick as required complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement GI tubing light grade 50mm bore cut to size abd fixed along the pole for cable protection including clamp 02 Nos of size 25mm x 4mm with nuts, bolts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in replacement GI tubing light grade 80mm bore cut to size abd fixed along the pole for cable protection including clamp 02 Nos of size 25mm x 4mm with nuts, bolts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed

S&F in replacement bracket for street light fitting made out of 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade 1.2 mtr long each bent to required shape & size as directed by Engineer-in-charge and fixed to pole with and including flat iron clamps 02 Nos made out of 32 x 6mm flat iron including GI nuts, bolts &washer and painting of clamps and street light firtting bracket with one coat of red oxide primer, one under coat and one finishing coat with aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair LED street light fitting 70 Watt, 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing with black epoxy powder coated and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 66 protection for optical compartment and control gear compartment.. The LED street light shall be integral type, use multiple LEDs to get sufficient light and top maintainable for easy maintenance. The input voltage range shall be 150 V to 270 V and the driver shall be of isolated type having power factor more than 0.95 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of electric connection with three runs of 1.5 sqmm single core PVC insulated, unsheathed, FRLS cable 1100 volts grade with multistranded, copper conductor and drawing in and including non metallic rigid PVC concealed conduit medium grade inclusive of conduit fittings such as Bends Teess reducers etc and galvanized iron sheet steel terminal boxes of size 16 gauge thickness, including one continuous run of 1.50 Sqmm nominal area solidconductor PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 Volts grade single core FRLS cable with solid copper conductor connecting to common earth dolly fixed on pole with 3 Nos of suitable clamps, nuts, bolts and washers from junction box to street light fittings complete all as specified and directed. Note : 3 runs of 1.5 Sqmm copper cable and one run of PVC conduit will be measured as one lengh.

Supply and fix in replacement PVC conduit heavy duty 25 mm bore cut to size and fixed along the pole for cable protection as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replacement for PVC weather proof junction boxes of size 250x 200x 100mm with PVC heavy duty connector 16 Amps 4 way, one No Single Pole MCB 6 Amps and making necessary cable connection complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MCCB 4 pole 160 Amps 415Volt 50Hz breaking capacity 36KA adjustable type including taking down existing unserviceable complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MCCB 4 pole 400 Amps 415Volt 50Hz breaking capacity 50KA adjustable type including taking down existing unserviceable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairing, servicing, painting and replacement of unserviceable parts of LT panels including complete broken accessories such as partialy open door, broken door, unserviceable aluminium bus bar, unserviceable/ broken locking arrangement, repairing of LT Panel legs, welding work, necessary PCC work, excavation and earth work including disconnecton and reconnection of cables with suitable size of aluminium lungs in proper engineering practice, for any size of cables in any capacity of LT panel also Fixing of LT Danger Notice plate in both side of the panel complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of LT concrete pole of complete length, by applying one coat of white cement based paint after scraping/ brushing and cleaning the alage on pole and cross arms and a coat of white synthetic enamel painting to pole upto 1.5 mtr from ground level shall be painted by alternate layer of black and Yellow enamel paint (30 cms apart) Pole Number shall be wirtten on pole by black paint in yellow circle of 150mm dia. A coat of aluminium painting shall be done on cross arm and bracing, nut, bolts and washers etc after prep of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Trimming up of Bushes/ Tree branches upto 3 mtr all around security light poles both side of the road, removing cut branches from site as directed. Note :- (i) The overhead lines will be kept clear from all trees by trimming of tree branches with 3mtr all around the line. Necessary permission will be obtained from department by contractor one day prior to trimming in particular area and shut down of that area will be arranged by department. (ii) Only effected span at site shall be measured where tree branches are touching nearly HT/LT lines (iii) Effected 3 Metre span all around the pole/line shall be considerd as one Job

Dismantling of rusted/ corroded cross-arms fixed on LT poles and removing unserviceable cross-arms from site complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of unserviceable/ perished ACSR conductor of any size from HT/LT overhead lines and removing the same from site complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of unserviceable insulators of any size and type from LT overhead lines complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of totally enclosed including taking down outdoor type LT Panel weldless cubical Kiosk in modular bolted construction type dust and vermin proof floor mounted type (IP-65 degree of protection) made out of 3mm thick CRCA sheet of recommeded size. All sheet metal parts separately chemically treated with 7 tank treatment process. the panel having both side opening door with locking arrangement. All doors fixed with steel hinges with suitable size nut bolts and shall have flexible fixing of each switchgear and controlgrae compartment with cable alley tray of size not less than 30 cm duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint powder coated, bus bar 800 Amps rating made of aluminium strip duly drilled holes for connection and mounted on epoxy based post insulators for 3 phase 4 wire 415 volts 50 HZ AC supply, hibling, cable entry boxes, cable gland and LT panel shall be mounted on iron angle frame made out of 50 x 50 x 6 mm frame with 4 No legs size not less than 45 cms fixed with nut bolts of suitbale size (bottom portion of the panel), grounted by using foundation 1:2:4 type B1 with 20 mm graded stone aggregates totally tested as per IEC 61439-I, suitable for and including the following:- (i) MCCB 4 Pole 415 volts 160 amp rating Thermal magnetic release with rupturing capacity 36 KA - 01 Nos as incomer (ii) MCCB TPN 4 pole 415 volts with thermal based release rupturing cap 10 KA, 32 amps - 02 Nos for outgoing. (iii) MCCB TPN 4 Pole 415 volts with thermal based release rupturning cap 10 KA, 40 amps-04 Nos for outgoing (iv) Security light timer switch with daily weekly programmable timer switch with suitable range of contactor for smooth functioning of security lights-01 No (v) Indicator set RYB - 01 set of 03 pcs only (vi) Multifunction digital panel meter suitable to display amps, volts, frequency etc-01 No including CTs of appropriate ratio. (vii) All accssories prewired with suitable size copper conductor cable or strip including foundation as per manufacturer instruction all as required and directed.

M& L for erection of prestressed concrete pole, 9.0 metres long, 102mm x 152mm at top and 102mm x 289mm at bottom, class 10 including dismantling of unserviceable / broken electric pole of any size and type by disconnecting all connections, demolition of concerted foundation including excavation, earth work as required and removing the same from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 with using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles and stay with necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 with using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles with necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.3mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead of GI strip of size 25x4mm by means of GI Bolts, Nuts, check nuts and washers of the earth and thimbles and other end of the earth strip connected to earthing test point and protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade 40mm bore from earth plate to Panel/DBs and water pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade raised up to a level of 50cm above ground level with plug at top, earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 RCC pre-cast (1:2:4 type B-1) cover slab of 50 mm thick using 8.00mm dia CTD bars reinforcement both ways at 140 mm centre to centre with handle, 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering pipe, wire mesh, funnel and providing charcoal or coke and salt in alternative layers of 15 cm including necessary earth work in soft/ loose soil, returning, refilling and removing of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr testing complete all as shown in electrical plate No-3 of MES Schedule Part-I of SSR-2009 complete all as specified and directed, including taking down existing unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed.
