Pre-engineered Building' Super structure with structural steel work riveted , bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a primary coat of approved steel primer & epoxy painting two or more coats including all holding down bolts, base plates, gusset plates, nuts, bolts, washers, packings, rivets etc. complete. along with attachment / provision for fixing E&M, OHE and S&T equipments in the building steel roof structures Work to include all intermediate stages of activities not defined herein, but otherwise implied for total completion of work. The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all the materials, factory fabrication, loading, transportation, unloading at site, erection, fixing in position, welding, grinding etc. complete. The gaps between base plates / other gaps will be filled up with ‘Force Rock’ Chemical. The rate will be inclusive of designing of the structure with structure steel taking into consideration the load of total 04 storeys i.e. G+3 building and vetting will be got done by the contractor within 10 days of award of work from reputed institutes like IITs/NITs/Govt. Engineering Colleges. Charges of designing & vetting of steel structure will be included in the quoted & accepted rates, nothing extra will be paid on this account. Pre-engineered Building' Super structure with structural steel work will be designed taking into consideration all loads, pressures, wind pressures, local conditions, relevant earthquake zone, type and use of building, as per the standards, codes of practices etc. complete. Minimum weight of structural steel @ 65 Kg. /Sqm. of mesureable built up area is to be considered while designing the building including weight of structure steel members, base plates, gusset plates, holding down bolts, nuts, bolts, rivets etc. complete. For actual weight above 65 Kg./ Sqm nothing extra will be paid. For all roof slab, roof slab, mumty roof slab, stair case flights / waist slabs, landings etc., 0.80mm thick G.I. deck sheeting will be provided over structural steel roofing members with self driven shear bolts/screws. The cost of this item is included in the quoted & accepted rate of the complete item. Builtup area at all floors from outer to outer of main walls' line will be measured in plan i.e. length & width of building parts in plan. Pipe shafts /ducts projecting out of main walls will not be measured. Roof Projections, Chajjas over openings or any other projections will not be measured for payment. BOLTING: Providing, fabricating and supplying Hot - Dip Galvanized Holding Down Bolts including all assemblies and accessories that are required to be embedded in concrete work by other agencies are included in the rate quoted by the tenderer Bolts shall be of sufficient length to ensure that a minimum 40mm length of threaded portion is embedded in concrete. Threaded portion to be left projecting outside the concrete surface shall be as per requirement of supplier's design and approved drawings. Cost of fabricated, assembled and supplied Bolts shall include all necessary expenses incurred , including costs of all washers, nuts, lock nuts and pins that may be required for securing the structural member with the embedded bolts.
