Development of cement concrete road from Uparajagara main road to KadabandhaSahi of Kumundi GP in the district of Keonjhar (Under CSR Scheme)

Road work

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetations grass, bushes, shrubs etc and disposal of unserviceable materials up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per clause no: 201 of MoRT&H and as per direction of EIC.

Earth work in excavation of foundation treaches in all kinds of soil including moorum, stoney earth and earth mixed with boulders ( except sheet rocks and boulders requiring for blasting) including dressing and levelling the bed up to the required depth and depositing the excavated materials at places away from the work site with all leads and lifts, T&P shoring and shuttering and dewatering if required etc. comp. as directed by EIC.

Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Table 300-2 for embankment construction & clause 305 of MoRT&H specification for Road & Bridge (5th revision) as per direction of EIC.

Construction of embankment with approved materials obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet required density etc complete as per Clause No.305 of specifications for Road and Bridge works of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (5th Revision) & including cost of all materials, labour, T&P, taxes, royalty etc complete in all respect and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling foundation and plinth with river sand, well watered, rammed including cost, conveyance, royalties of materials, cost of all labour and T&P required for the work etc. complete as per direction of EIC.

P.C.C .of prop.(1:3:6) in foundation using 40 mm. size broken hard granite metal of approved quality from approved quarry including lowering, laying concrete to required levels laid in layers not exceeding 150mm thick including cost, conveyance, royalties of all materials, watering and curing and cost of all labour, T&P required for the work etc. compleete as per direction of EIC.

Construction of Granular Sub Base Grading II material as per table 400-1 spreading in uniform layers with moto grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC & compacting with vibrator roller to achieve the desired density complete as per clause 401 of Mo SRT&H specifications for Road & Bridge works (By mix in place method).

Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub-base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS-383 the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, aggregate cement ratio not to be exceeded 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per Table 600.1. cement content not to be less than 150kg/Cum. Optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, contrete strength not to be less than 10Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.28 / 0.40 cum capacity and placement to site, compaction with vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc completed with cost conveyance and of all materials Hire and running charges machineries and cost of all labour, T&P etc. completed as per the direction of EIC.C

Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed (at expansion and construction joint only) plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement of M40 grade concrete with coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.28/0.40cum capacity using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete the shovels rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints with admixtures and curing compound as directed by EIC. complete in all respect. .

Quarrying, collecting, conveying supplying and stacking at work site beyond the trafficable berm with good laterite moorum of approved quarry having CBR value not less than 7 and P.I. valve not more than 6, Conveying from stacks and laying moorum in berms in layers not exceeding 10mm watering and consolidation with PRR including watering, cost, conveyance, royalties of all materials, cost of all labour, T&P required for the work to complete as per specification and direction of EIC. (If the moorum available at approved quarry do not meet the above specification, the contractor may admix sand at his own cost to obtain the above specification).

Providing and fixing of road stud 100x 100 mm, die cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense eflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30 mm upto a depth of 60 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS 873 part 4:1973 etc. complete in all respect and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying of filter media with stone crushed aggregate of 45mm size satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MORT&H specification to a thickness of not less than 600mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided to the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall, return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification and as per direction of EIC.

Painting two coat including primer coat with synthetic enamel paint to unplastered concret surface after cleaning the surface of dirt, dust, oll, grease, efflorescence and applying paint cross barrier including cost of paint, primer, putty, scaffolding, T&P, cost, conveyance, cost of all materials and cost of all labour required for the work etc. complete as per the direction of EIC. (Paints of Burger/Nerolac/J&N /Asian/ ICI Brand is to be used.)

Rough stone dry packing in aprons and revetments and stone pitching in slopes with hard stone picking up locally scattered stone of size 30 cm and above as per approved drawing and Clause 2504 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision
