SPECIAL REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF EARTHING AND LIGHTNING ARRESTOR AT DIFFERENT SUB STN AND PUMP HOUSE AT BARRACKPORE UNDER GE BARRACKPORE

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation or for shafts, well, cesspits, pier holes etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm soil all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting points in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of aluminium strip of size 25x3.15mm including taking down old unserviceable one and fixed on epoxy based moulded insulator for down conductor including drilling two Nos holes at each joint, one set of lead washers between strips two sets GI nut, bolt, washers gutties, screws etc as and when required. (Note:- Epoxy base moulded insulator including pack block, nut, bolt will be measured and paid seperately)

S&F of new inspection box/test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of galvanised iron strip of size 32x6 mm after taking down old one and burried in ground or fixed on wall with suitable epoxy base insulator on wall floors and connected to test point including bending, jointing at test points with 2 Nos GI nuts, bolts, with lead washers, joining strips at all joints as directed. (Note:- Epoxy base moulded insulator including pack block, nut, bolt will be measured and paid seperately)

S&F of new air termination single pointed aluminium rod of 12mm dia 300mm long fixed to aluminium strip 25x3.15mm drilling nuts, bolts washers for resting/supporting of air terminals etc including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing with glavanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmX60cmX6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to the galvanised earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers with galvanised iron strips of size 32 x 6 as earthing lead as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all specified or indicated including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil, earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate pit, funnel, 20mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe , 40mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe and pre-cast earth pit cover 50mm thick made of RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 duly reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @150c/c both ways, one lifting handle made out of 10mm dia TMT bar 250 mm long embedded in cover slab and cover, wire, copper lugs etc mesh, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15 cm thick including taking down old unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Galvanised iron strip of size 32x6mm upto 7.5m long including testing is deemed to be included with quoted rate).

S&F of epoxy base insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, near to 50mm height and 65mm dia fixed on PCC blocks/on wall/on cover shed/on MS angle/on towers etc long with necessary fixing arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting chases of size 150mm x 150mm in the hard standing/road for embedding exposed GI strip including filling with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 and matching with adjoining surface complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting chases of size 150mm x 150mm in the floor in soil for embedding exposed GI strip including filling with excavated soil and matching with adjoining surface complete all as specified and directed. (Note for item No. 10.00 & 11.00:- Rate quoted is inclusive of cutting chases and depositing of excavated martial to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs)

S&F of polished copper air termination base including four fixing screw for holding aluminium rods of 12mm dia base should be four way accessible for terminal connection of aluminium strip of 25mm size and providing support to Air termination rod complete all as specified and directed.

Scaffloding and T&P charges required for completing the required work even at a height of appx 25mtr from ground level to top of overhead tank complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of 40 mm dia low density polyethylene pipes(LDPE) fixed to walls, ground, ceiling or in floors for protection of earthing/lighting arrestor strip including taking down old unserviceable one all as specified and directed.

S&F of 32mm dia galvanised iron tube (light grade) with all fitting, clamps and fixed complete to walls, ceiling, roof for support of air termination including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.
