Dismantling of SVL / MVL/ MH / LED/FTL/Flood light fittings of any capacity from existing poles / buildings of any height/type including re-fixing after repair/replacment of unserviceable parts such as FTL/lamps / ballasts / ignitors / holder/starter/ bipin holder etc and making the fitting functional by replacing minor parts such as nuts,bolts PVC connector complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (a) Spares shall be measured & paid separately as given here-in-after. (b) Contractor shall provide minimum 1 Electrician and 1 helper to carry out the repair / Maint work of security lights in day shift (9000 Hrs-1700 Hrs) and they have to report AGE E/M-I yard for daily assingment/task (c) Contractor shall provide all tools and plants and minor spares such as Ladder minor nuts bolts, jumper wire, insulation tape etc required for doing the job related with electric supply including mobile phones for communication and will be fully responsible for safety and security of their man. ( d) In case non reporting of required staff in AGE E/M yard the recovery shall be made @ Rs 500/= per day .

Repair of Nature timer switch control syetem of Street Lights including repair of power control Panel ,replecement of contactor switches ,relay and timer switch , MCB and any other minor accesories as required on site for three phase/single phase timer all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing contactor switch relay as per existing model and capacity for nature timer switch of street light all as specified and directed.

S&F 1100 Volts grade heavy duty cable one twin core, flat or circular PVC insulated aluminium solid conductor of following sizes served with inner sheathing of PVC tapes and overall PVC sheathed in service connection from pole to Main Switch complete all as specified and directed. Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Making horizontal bore hole under road of 50 mm bore size at the depth not less than 1 mtr below ground level for passing of LT underground cable complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement GI pipe light grade for cable protection, fixed to pole/ alongwall/ floor/ under road/ across the drain or nallaha etc of following sizes complete all as specified & directed. (a) 40 mm bore.

(b) 50 mm bore.

Taking out old unserviceable Old LT cable any type and size from trenches or fixed on poles or through pipes/walls/laid under roads/paths/ drains/culverts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable, heavy duty, conforming to IS - 7098 Part I - 1988 with aluminum conductor 1100 Volts of following sizes / grade laid in ducts or on walls, in trenches encased in GI pipe fixed to walls / laid under roads / drains / paths / culverts etc complete all as specified and directed.

(a) 25 Sqmm 4 core

(b) 16 Sqmm 4 core

(c) 10 Sqmm 4 core

Lopping / prooning of tree branches upto the extend to obtain clearance all around the LT over head lines conductor upto 3 mtr from furthest conductor on pole including removing of cut branches and cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) The trees branches etc will be left as it is and will not be carried away by the contractor / DEL as the wood belongs to CEO / DEO and they will be responsible to lift the wood. (b) Prooning of all tree branches in one tree shall be measured as one Job. (c) Contractor will employ sufficient labour to complete the job with in time as directed. (d) Contractor will be responsible for any type of mis-happening / accident while prooning the trees. (e) Contractor supervisor will take proper shut down from MES installation before starting the work and clear it before resuming power supply . However full assistance will be provided by MES staff. (f) The contractor will provide proper tools and safety devices to his staff for prooning of trees.

Dismantling of LT PCC/Steel tubular pole of any size and discription incl coping, foundation etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and erection, in truly vertical position, LT Steel tublar swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate finial taper plug, bolt , nut and screwed type 410 SP 31 09 mtrs long Class -10 including painting of poles with two coats of synthatic enamel paint in black and white strips upto 1.5 mtr height from coping over a coat of red oxide primer including numbering of poles as directed by Engineer in charge. Note : PCC, Earth work and MS work as cross arms clamps etc will be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using stone aggregate 40mm graded as in foundation for electric poles and making of cable duct including necessary form work where required and fair finish to the exposed surfaces all as specified & directed.

All as per srl item No. 32 here-in-before but PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 as in foundation of stays and coping of poles.

S&F in replacement, fabricating and fixing in replacement of cross arms (any type) supports, bracting, stiffness etc made out of MS channel, angle iron, flat iron of any size including drilling of holes, making clamps, eye hooks, nuts, bolts and washers etc, welding if required including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of LT steel tubular pole and poles of Flood light of Golf ground area and MAP accn area pole complete and painting with one coat of aluminium paint including channels/brackets, street light brackets, cross arms and making Black/Red/Yellow & white strips with synthetic enamelled paint of 30cm height, each alternative strip upto 1.5 mtr height and writing pole numbers with yellow synthetic enamelled paint after making circular base with black synthetic enamelled paint and applying two coat of white wash on PCC coping complete all as specified.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised or steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically ( to a depth not less than 2.25mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to GI wire 4mm dia with nuts, bolts , check nuts , washers, earth plate surrounded by packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm thick all around, top & bottom watering pipe 20mm bore of GI medium grade with funnel and wiremesh all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR -1991 Part I and connecting to arthing test point,main switch board and testing on completion including PCC chamber concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover 75mm thick with MS TMT bar 8mm dia @ 150mm c/c both ways in cement concrete(1:2:4) type B-1 all asshown in electrical plate in No 5 of SSR(Pt-I)1991 complete all as specified and dirfected by Engineer-in-charge.

Note : (i) Day to Day Complaints pertaining to Street Light shall be resolved by the contractor within 24 hrs of getting complaints. In case of failure on the part of contractor to resolve to the complaints within stipulated time, a penalty of Rs 500/- per day per complaint shall be imposed from thecontractor. (ii) The contractor or his authorised representative shall report to the concerned JE E/M at 09:00 hours dailly on all working days to receive order/instructions of the work. A register shall be maintained to record all orders & instructions and their complaints and is to be signed by the contractor/his representative and the Engineer-in-charge/JE E/M concerned. (iii) Work done register to be maintained by the contrator. A separate Docket complaints slip book shall maintained by the contractor to note the complaints/jobs and get it signed by the user after completion of work and submits to the JE-in-Charge.
