Note for Serial Item No. 14, 15, 16 & 17: [a] Good Earth shall be well sieved to pass 90% through IS sieve of 10mm size, free from stone rubbish like lumps, stones and other foreign materials suitable for gardening. The soil shall be fresh from quarry. The colour of soil generally be red and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [b] Manure shall be well decayed, well dried, well powdered, without clabs and free from stones, dried grass and rubbish materials. The colour of manure shall be black and shall be screened at site using IS designation 4.75 Sieve. [b] Enclosure: Outdoor type enclosure having modular construction with 2mm thick Galvanized Sheet Steel in Corrugated / Louvered design type wall design for better heat dissipation and providing robust construction. The degree of protection for HT & LT switchgear compartment shall be IP54 & degree of protection of transformer compartment of the enclosure shall be minimum IP34. The enclosure exterior shall be painted with polyurethane paint / epoxy powder coated of 80 Microns thick and tropicalised to Indian weather conditions. Each compartment shall be provided with the door and pad locking arrangement. Doors of transformer compartment are fitted with Arc reflectors from the inside for providing better safety. The Compartment illumination lamp with door-operated switch shall be provided for each compartment. Structure of the substation shall be able to withstand the gross weight of all equipment. The Compact Substation shall be provided with lifting beams and hooks for easy installation at site and it shall be possible to transport the equipment along with Transformer, RMU & LT Panel from one site to another. Dimensions of enclosure shall be as per the components required and mentioned in BoQ. Final drawing shall be got approved from Accepting Officer. – 1 Nos.

[c] HT Switchgear [Inside Compact Sub-Station]: Four way 11KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA / 3 Sec Non-Extensible Ring Main Unit / Compact Switchgear with Copper Busbar, consisting of 630 Amps, Two Numbers [As incomer] fixed Manual Fault Making / Load Break Switches & Two Numbers Fixed Manual SF6 insulated Vacuum Circuit Breakers [As Outgoing] in SF6 Gas insulated sealed for life minimum 2mm thick AISI 441 Grade stainless steel tank with IP 67 degree of protection with Air Insulated Metering Module, castle lock interlock shall be provided between two incomers such way that only one incomer shall switch on at any given point of time, One Number fault passage indicator shall be provided for each Load Break Switch with 1 NO + 1 NC Contact, One Number manometer shall be provided for outgoing feeders, One set of 80/1A, 2.5 VA, Class 1.0 for metering & One set of 80 / 1A, 2.5 VA, CL 5P 10 Current Transformers shall be provided, One number of Digital Multifunction Meter with RS 485 Port shall be provided for VCB Feeders, One Set of 11 kV / RT3 / 110 / RT3, Class 1.0, 50 kVA PTs shall be provided in Metering Module. M & L for Comprehensive Maintenance of Electrically Operated Passenger Lifts of 13 Passengers [884 KGs] Capacity, serving G+4 Floors, all as specified under Serial Item No. 52 of BoQ / Schedule "A" for Third Year after expiry of Defects Liability Period complete and all as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

[e] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of testing of each lift by Licensed Lift Inspector of Government of Andhra Pradesh once in Contract Period for worthiness of the Lift in respect of safety. Certificate issued by the Licensed Lift Inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge and a copy of Certificate shall be displayed in all Lift Cabins as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [f] Emergency Light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box in the shift for smooth functioning of lifts. [g] Conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the contractor to all Lift Mechanics and Helpers. [h] The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act.

[i] Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher. The contractor shall also insure the workmen employed on the job. [j] The contractor is responsible for Insurance, EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall be paid to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. [k] INSURANCE AND DRESS CODE: The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour uniform with labels showing the Name of Firm and the Designation and "GE [U-II] [V]" printed on them along with protective clothing. The contractor shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes. [l] The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Lifts System / Safety Mechanism or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations.

[m] The contractor shall carryout the comprehensive maintenance of the lifts catered under subject work through the Original Equipment Manufacturer of that lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies to provide technical support, trained persons for maintenance & testing and spares before commencement of the work to GE. The spares shall be of the make as per existing or as per the OEM. [n] MINIMUM MANPOWER TO BE EMPLOYED: The contractor shall be required to employ the One Lift Mechanic per Shift of 08 Hours from 0900 Hours to 1700 Hours and shall report to Office of AGE [E/M] for day to day maintenance and efficient operation of Lifts:
