Demolition of pavement (flexible and concrete) as in pavement below or above ground level complete including loading, unloading, removal outside MD Land complete all as specified and directed.
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic Excavator) over areas not exceeding 1.5 m in depth including getting out in WBM and soling complete all as specified and directed.
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic Excavator) over areas not exceeding 1.5 m in depth including getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.
Excavating in trenches, not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc. 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed
Returning and filling in soil including spreading, levelling and watering in layers not exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.
Returning filling, spreading and consolidation of in-situ soil/ earth obtained from item No 3 herein above as in subgrade/ formation, and adding water to the required quantity to maintain optimum moisture content of soil mixture during consolidation in two layers of 250 mm thick for a total compacted depth of 500 mm, consolidating with suitable compacting plant such as soil compactor/ power vibratory roller of capacity 8 to 10 tonne etc. under optimum moisture content to achieve at least 98% of maximum dry density (Modified Proctor Density) and minimum field soaked ‘k’ value of not less than 7kg/cm²/cm, minimum lab soaked CBR value of 15% in each layer determined in accordance with relevant IS code of practices and finishing the surface to the required levels, camber, gradients/ profile etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cost of stacking after excavation adjacent to construction site properly, lead not exc 100 m and removal, spreading for filling under pavement deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. All these activities are to be carried by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of GE.
Material and labour for removing excavated material (soil/ WBM/ soling/ concrete) to a distance exceeding 500 m but not exceeding 1.5 km and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for 200 mm thick Granular Sub Base Grade V as per MORTH specification, surface formed, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber using earth compactor of minimum 8 to 15 tonne or compaction methodology recommended by soil agency at OMC to achieve min 98% density of MDD determined using modified proctor density determination method as per IS code complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for WMM (Wet Mixed Macadam) 150 mm thick (compacted thickness), laid in two layer 75 mm each, with granite coarse aggregate of maximum size 40 mm of approved grading, mixed with stone dust all as per IRC 109-2015 in WMM plant spread with mechanical sensor paver, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne vibratory roller including necessary lateral support and form work all as per MORTH clause 406 complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for construction of rolled cement concrete base course 150 mm thick as Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) of average compressive strength of each consecutive group of 5 cubes not less than 7 Mpa at 7 days and compressive strength of any individual concrete cube shall not be less than 5.5 Mpa at 7 days using table 1 of IRC SP-49-2014 for grading of aggregate and as per design mix, minimum cement content shall not be less than 150 kg/ cum including spreading and compacted by using mechanical sensor paver and tandem vibratory roller of capacity exc 8 tonne and n. exc 12 tonne complete all as specified as per IRC SP-49-2014 complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for supply, spreading and levelling 10 mm thick screened natural sand (sand should be passing 1.18 mm IS sieve and retain 600 micron) as cushioning over Dry Lean Cement Concrete (DLC) to protect HDPE sheet including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet over sand layer complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) HDPE sheet of 400 micron thickness shall be laid full width of pavement of bay without joint, conforming to IS: 10889-2004 with company logo and IS code, batch number on atleast every 2 metres. (ii) Manufacturers test certificate shall be produced for every consignment. (iii) Side lap of 150 mm and end lap of 300 mm shall be provided wherever required. (iv) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the laps. (v) Only net quantity shall be measured and paid.
Material and labour for 300 mm thick Pavement Quality Concrete work in pavement of flexural strength 4.5 Mpa in field using minimum 400 kg of cement per cubic metre mixed with polyester non circular virgin synthetic monofilament fibres by mechanical means @ 1 kg/ cum of weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions, spread and laid by fixed form paver to required gradient and camber including necessary steel form work finishing, belting, curing, brooming/ tinning complete all as specified and as directed. (i) The max size of aggregate in PQC must be 31.5 mm and gradation (as per Table 600-3 of MORTH & Specification for Road and Bridge works) and Flexural strength shall be established by beam test and design mix formula should be compatible to IRC 44-2017 and IS-456. (ii) Only 43 grade cement shall be used for this item.
Note: (i) Admixture as per approved design mix shall be added and cost of Admixture shall be measured and paid under respective item of schedule. However mixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Polyester non-circular virgin synthetic monofilament fibres as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule. However mixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (iv) Deduction shall be made in PQC for quantity of expansion joints, construction joints and dummy joints. (v) Minimum cement content per cum of concrete shall be 400 kg/ cum. However actual cement content shall be worked out as per design mix and nothing extra shall be paid on this account if the quantity of cement used in design mix is more than 400 kg/ cum.
(vi) For the purpose of pricing this item the cement content shall be considered as 400 kg/ cum. In case if quantity of cement used is less than 400 kg/ cum, minus price adjustment shall be made @ rate of Rs. 7.0 per kg. If quantity of cement used is more than 400 kg/ cum, no plus price adjustment shall be made to the quoted rate. (vii) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of use and waste form work for total thickness. (viii) The trial will be executed as per above specification and shall be got approved from GE. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of this provision and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ix) Curing compound will be applied at the paving stage after broom finish and surface is dry, and rate for use of curing compound shall be included in quoted rate. (x) Surface shall be finished by transverse brooming of maximum 1.5 mm deep or as per the requirement of Air Force Authority. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of this provision and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
Supply only Polyester, non-circular virgin synthetic monofilament fibres (polyester type) 12 mm long with equivalent fibre diameter 15-40 micron, designed for minimum melting point of 250°C, minimum tensile strength 300 Mpa, minimum secant modulus 6 x10³ Mpa, minimum ultimate elongation 15%, minimum glass transition temp 80°C, minimum intrinsic viscosity 0.60 dl/gm, aspect ratio 450 to 800 and having specific gravity of 1.34 to 1.39 complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply only super plasticizer (Admixture) complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for cutting of 25 mm wide expansion joints upto full depth of PQC concrete slab 300 mm thick by diamond cutter machine as soon as the concrete is strong enough to withstand edge spalling i.e. first cut as early as possible but not later than 24 hrs; filled with preformed compressible synthetic filler board (HD-100) of required depth conforming to IS:1838:2011 Part- 3, provision of 2mm thick debonding tape above filler board, 02 coats of priming the vertical side of joints or as recommended in manufacturer's instruction and sealed by mechanical means using cold single component polyurethane sealant (minimum depth of sealant above filler board shall be 15 mm leaving 2-3 mm recess) confirming to relevant code, ASTM C-719 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/ water resistance test and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. The sealant should have MAF (+/-) 30% and manufacturer's warranty for 10 years as used in International Airports in India complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for cutting 10 mm wide and 28 mm deep construction joints by diamond cutter machine, 02 coats of priming on the vertical side of joints and providing expanded closed-cell polyethylene backup rod 12mm dia and sealed with and using cold applied single component polyurethane sealant (minimum depth of sealant above back up rod shall be 13 mm leaving 2-3mm recess) confirming to relevant code, ASTM C-719 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/water resistance test and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. The sealant should have MAF (+/-) 30% and manufacturer's warranty for 10 years as used in International Airports in India complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for cutting contraction (Dummy) joints 6 to 8 mm wide and 25 mm deep for 300 mm thick PQC (using diamond cutter), initial 3 mm wide saw cut upto 100 mm depth as soon as the concrete is strong enough to withstand edge spalling i.e. first cut as early as possible but not later than 24 hrs including provision of closed cell polyurethene backup rod 10mm dia, 02 coats of priming the vertical side of joints and sealed with and using cold applied single component polyurethane sealant (Min depth of sealant above back up rod shall be 12 mm leaving 2-3mm recess) confirming to relevant code, ASTM C-719 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/ water resistance test recommended and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. Material and labour for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete etc. all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for precast reinforcement cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc.), chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including use and waste of necessary form work etc. and set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for 26.5 mm graded stone coarse aggregate as in filter media for drain as per table 300-3 of MORTH 5th revision complete all as specified and as directed.
