Rectification of complaints under Haig Line Power House of HT UG/OH electric distribution network by attendng daily complaints including Sunday and holidays for round the clock and making the same serviceable in all respect alongwith replacement of any major part but including small length of cable (not more than 20 mtr), adhesive tape and other connected minor accessories shall also include visual inspection of OH lines, Earth Resistance of transformer, switch gear, GOD switch etc. Quoted rate also include excavation of faulty cable and making seviceable with accessories like joints, Fuse wire for GOD switch complete all as directed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Notes for items No 01.00 to 02.00 :- (i) Any complaint left unattended by the electrician will be communicated to the JE in-charge /AGE E/M with reason. No charge will be paid for the complaint till the complaint is resolved. (ii) New material /stores provided for completing the job shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of BOQ. (iii) Contractor shall provide all type of T&P of HT/LT network, bamboo ladder, Meggar etc with safety gloves to each electrician for attending the external electric complaints. (iv) Contractor shall provide the complaint register 200 pages – 10 No, complaint book with 100 slips- 20 No. Booklets serially numbered in triplicate. (v) Contractor will provide 03 No. Experienced Electrician having minimum 5 years experience ( 01x three shifts per day) and 03 No. Helper having minimum 2 years experience ( 01 x three shifts per day) including Sundays and Holidays to attend HT Complaints. (vi) Contractor will provide well experienced and well conversant person for lodging the complaint in complaint cell of each power house during working hours from 0900hrs to 1700hrs on all working days including Sunday & all Holidays. (vii) The Contractor will provide insurance cover of minimum Rs 5 lakh per head under IE Rules 2003 and Minimum wages Act. (viii) The Electrician and helper will be interview by JE E/M /Engr-in-charge for verification of experience, character and sound mind and body. (ix) Cost of materials for laying of cables, stretching of OH conductor, burnt out joints, fuse wires, insulator and jumper will be measured and paid separately under relevant items as Material & Labour for. (x) The contractor may have to provided additional resources as per the direction of Engr-in-Charge for speedy disposal of complaints as and when required. If any manpower is absent penal charge @ Rs 1000/- per person will be levied to the contractor. Penal recovery @ Rs 500/- per complaint per hour will be levied to the contractor in case of late attending of complaint after reasonable time or 2 hours whichever is more as decided by Engr-in-Chage / GE

(xi) The scope of work cover all complaints received from above concern power houses will be lodged/docketed/attended/completed. The completion will be rendered on complaint register as well as on docket. Nature of fault may occurs given below :- (a) Blown out fuses (b) Faulty Insulator (c) Loose GOD male & female contact (d) Faulty cable joint (e) O/H conductor broken (f) Broken jumpers (g) Tightening of stay (h) Stretching of broken loose fault conductor and binding on insulators up to 3 span (j) Contractor will provide all the tools such as HT/LT meggar, Insulation Tester, Wrench, Rope, Bamboo ladder, search light and other tools and will maintain them in working condition all the time. (k) Tightening of service connection as preventive maintenance. (l) Proper Uniform shall be provided by the contractor for persons employed on duty as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (m) Tracing fault manually in LT/HT electric lines and underground cable network. (n) AC Complaints like connection / disconnection (o) Fault HT/LT switchgears (p) Switching ON/OFF street lights at appropriate time as directed by JE/Engr-in-Charge. Penal recovery for Rs 100/- per day will be recovered if street light are not put ON/OFF at appropriate time. (q) The area covered under the above power house consists of HT/LT overhead lines. HT/LT underground cables, distribution transformers, HT/LT switch gears, streer lights etc, including HT 11 KV incoming and numbers of outgoing HT feeders for the complete area. (r) Any other electric complaint which is considered essential by the department.

(s) Confirmation on completion of any nature of major complaints will be intimated to JE EM or Engr-in-Charge immediately. (t) The contractor will observe all labour laws as prevalent during the currency of work enacted by Central/State Deptt as well as Labour Commissioner Act. He shall also ensure, payment of minimum wages to the persons employed as per labour laws in vogue. (u) Insurance, Education Qualification and experience cert for the personnel employed on duty shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge before take over the installation. (v) The contractor will provide the rain coats, gum boot and hand gloves in winter and summer season. (w) Contractor will have no rights to object the work carrying out by other contractor at substation or HT/LT distribution system of the power house area under comprehensive maintenance. However necessary handing taking over the assets will be carried out between the agencies. (x) Contractor will provide vehicle (Electrical 3 wheeler) for attending the complaint under above power house area.

Labour only carry out visual inspection of transformer including minor maintenance like dusting ,tightening of loose connection HT/LV Side and replacement of aluminium terminal and checking of transformer oil level ,top up if required ,checking of silca gel ,heating/replacement of silca gel all as specified and as directed.T&P required for the job is deemed to be included in contract. The record of the same will be submitted in the performa as directed.

Trimming of Tree branches about to touch into OH lines of HT/LT & minimum clearance of 5 Mtr from OH conductors, Proper shut down will be taken and maintained in the register complete all as specified and directed.

Maintenance of sub Station including cleaning In /out of surroundings areas, zeroing of grass in two pole & four pole structure ,loose filling of sand/pebbles as required,operations of GODs ,Measuring of earth resistance of transformer,GODs ,LA & Switchgears ,Records of Earth resistance will be maintained complete all as specified and directed.

Detecting of fault in cable HT/LT with fault locator equipment which is capable to supply as per cable of HT/LT (11 KV/430 Volts) serviceable to cable with Straight through joint of size 95-400 Sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (a) The HT fault which is detected through cable fault locator will only be paid under this item including transportation charges deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) Charge of cable fault locator and DG set including transportation charge deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c) Earth fault locator will be provided by the contractor for even single HT fault and no delay on this account will be acceptable otherwise penalty will levied Rs 500/ per hour. (d) Straight through joint , 95 to 400 sqm, 3 core, Labour charges, excavation and making joint deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Taking down old unsv GOD and Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of air break gang operated triple switch( GOD) outdoor type , vertical mounting type of capacity 200 Amp with drop out fuse consisting 12 insulators ISI marked mechanically operated mounted on insulator and frame work with operating GI rods and mechanical work from ground level with locking arrangement including Godrej pad lock with two keys complete with fuse carrier and HT fuse element having upto 200 Amp rating suitable for HT 11 KV 50 HZ AC supply including necessary electric connection complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for surface cleaning of LT steel tubular poles 9 mtrs long including removing rusted particles painting with two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide including stand cross arms, bracing, supports,clamps eye hooks, security light bracket clamps etc providing black & white strips alternatively 30cm each from coping upto 1.5 mtr height starting with black strip using synthetic enamel paints incl repairing and painting on coping with cement base white paint complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The quoted rate shall includes making of numbers on self adhesive stickers on each LT pole as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for cement base paint for PCC pole 9 mtr including black & white strips alternatively 30cm each from coping upto 1.5 mtr height starting with black strip using synthetic enamel paint and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide including cross arms bracing supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket, clamp etc incl incl repairing and painting on coping with cement base white paint complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The quoted rate shall includes making of numbers on self adhesive stickers on each LT pole as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour in replacement of broken earth pit of size 300x300x300 mm made of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, and earth pit cover made out of RCC 1:2:4 type B1, cover reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm centre to centre both ways with handle made out of 8 mm dia bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and including reconnecting of earth lead of any type with new nuts, bolts and washers as required at site with testing result complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in repairs of stay by tightening of stay wire after untying the conductor spans from the poles to make correct tensions and maintain verticality of poles, including re-jointing the conductors in position with new binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Repairing of existing unserviceable PCC coping of LT/HT pole by breaking completely and material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of size 600X600X300mm including form work and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of off load change over switch with sheet steel Enclosure 415 V, 4 pole, 100 Amps capacity fixed on walls for electric supply distribution between main and DG set incl necessary connection of cable from LT panels to change over switches complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item ser No 56 here in before but for 200 Amps capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for shifting of heavy items upto 5 Ton weight by providing crane/hydra/excavators/tractors/ trolley etc as required at site complete, all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing in replacement of bracket made out of GI tubing single piece not welded, bended at proper angle of size 40mm dia, light grade 1.5 mtr long including painting with aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer to the bracket with clamp from juction box to connecter of street light fitting complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing in replacement of MS clamp suitable for holding street light bracket on steel/PCC pole made out of 40 mm x6 mm thick flat iron with M.S nuts bolts 50 mm long 10 mm dia -3 Nos with flat washer 3mm thick -02 No for each including painting with aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer to the M.S clamps complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fixing in replacement of extended spreaders link should be installed both side with exisitng/new MCCBs 4P/3P of any capacity with existing LT panels complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Chemical spray (DC 2.26 contact cleaner) in container of 415 ml/300g for precision blended multipurpose product for prevents corrosion penetrates, lubricants, displaces and seals out moisture release rusted mechanisum cleanese etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of fabrication of Kiosk box made out of fibre material complete with TPN ,aluminium busbar and suitable for one number MCB (SP) including one No MCB (SP) 6 Amps 240 volts with glands for incoming & out going cable including fixing of flat iron clamps of size 20x4mm on PCC/Steel tubular pole complete all as specified and directed. Make: Havells/Sintex.

Supply and fix in replacement of MCB SP 6-32 Amps, 240 volt,10 KA 'B' curve including all accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of MCB DP 16-40 Amps, 240 volt,10 KA 'B' curve including all accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of single core PVC unsheathed multi stranded copper cable (FRLS) 1.5 Sqmm nominal cross sectional area 1100 volts conforming to IS 694 including electrical connection suitable size of lugs, nuts and bolts complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item ser No 66 here in before but for 2.5 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of rigid non-metallic PVC conduit of dia 20 mm exclusive of boxes (Junction/terminal) but inclusive of all tees, bends, elbows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: PVC pipe will be clamped at three position on pole and cost of clamp, nut, bolts etc are incl in above quoted rates.

Taking down old unserviciable board and supply and fixing of Retro reflective sign board of size 600 x 750 sqmm made of ACP sheet of 3mm thick ACP sheet shall be fixed on MS frame with legs of MS angle section 35mm X 35mm X 4mm grouted in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 750mm above the ground level and 600mm below the ground level. The background of board to be provided with red colour, letters and border with white retro reflective tape. Same description shall be mentioned on both sides of ACP sheet complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Excavation, earth work, PCC, nuts, bolts, fastners, paint on MS frame and legs shall be included in quoted rates by contractor. (ii) The size of letters and description shall be all as per sample approved by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking down security light, street light, hanger light, flood light and high mast lights of any type at any height fittings such as HPSV/HPMV/MH/LED light of 48 Watt/ 60 watt / 70/72 watt/ 90 watt/ 120 watt/ 150 watt/ 200 watt and 300 watt of any make etc. AC 230 volts any wattage from pole/wall roof top/hanger roof including washing/cleaning of perplex cover inspection for location of fault and replacing of defective spare/parts required for smooth functioning, tighting of electric connection complete and assembling and reconnecting all as per site requirment complete all as specified and directed. Note: Defective spare/ part of relevant light fitting shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item as supply only.
