Schedule'A' Part-I: EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY WORK

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of pipe and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick above ground level in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down in trenches for cast iron water mains (including all fittings) of 100mm bore with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete and all as specified.

Re-laying in trenches of cast iron pipes of 100mm bore with spigot & socket ends centrifugally cast, class A, in any length after cleaning, laid in trenches including testing complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Serviceable CI pipe obtained from Sch item No. 4 here-in-above shall be re-used under this item.

Cutting existing 100mm bore cast iron pipes and reducing to required length including all as directed .

M&L for run lead joint to cast iron pipe of 100mm bore complete and all as specified.

Fixing only run lead joint to cast iron pipe of 150mm bore by using old lead complete and all as specified.

Supply & fixing of Bends for 100mm bore CI pipe (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch. "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs complete all as specified and directed .

Supply & fixing and testing sluice valve of 100mm dia bore flanged and drilled both ends Cast Iron body, heavy duty, class PN-1.6, brass spindle conforming to IS-14846, brass rings and iron wheel head including jointing with and including rubber gaskets, bolts, nuts & washers complete and dismantling suitable for 100mm bore pipe with flanged ends duly drilled, brass spindle, CI gate with brass rings and iron wheel head including dismantling taking out old unserviceable sluice valve including cutting unscrewing old nuts, bolts and removing from site of work complete all as specified and directed .Make : Kirloskar/Leader/RMCO

Supply, installing and testing Butterfly valve, (water type), ISI marked conforming to IS:13095 complete suitable for 100mm bore pipe including dismantling unserviceable butter fly valve and removing from site of work complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up old 100mm bore DI pipe (including all fitting) cleaning for re-fixing or removal to store from any position and removing of tyton joint complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting existing 100mm bore ductile iron pipe including filing/polishing for mechanical coupling 100mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Re-laying of ductile iron (DI) pipes of 100mm bore with spigot & socket ends, centrifugally cast, class K-9, in any length after cleaning, laid in trenches including testing complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Serviceable DI pipe obtained from Sch item No. 39 here in above shall be re-used under this item

Supply, laying, connecting and testing ductile iron (DI) pipes of 100mm bore with spigot & socket ends with gasket, as per IS: 8329-2000, centrifugally cast, class K-9 including S&F new fittings laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing of Tyton rubber gasket joint for DI pipe 100 mm dia including testing etc all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing of DI bend 100mm X 90º as per IS 9523-2000 for DI pipe 100mm dia including testing etc all specified and directed.

All as per item No. 18 here-in-before but of size 100mm X 45º.

Supply and fixing of 100mm of DI flange socket as per IS 9523-2000 including testing etc all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of 100mm of DI flange spigot as per IS 9523-2000 including testing etc all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of 100mm of DI Tee 100mmX100mm as per IS 9523-2000 including testing etc all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of jiffy coupling for jointing of DI pipe of size 100mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit of internal dimension 900mm x 900mm x 900mm with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 for foundation including 15mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:4 inside the chamber and the external portion exposed above ground level, including necessary earth work in soft/loose soil well ramming of soil around the constructed chamber complete with mild steel angle iron frame work of size 40x40x6mm and 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet cover, openable through hinges of suitable size, handle and necessary locking arrangements and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (1st grade quality) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer after preparation of new surfaces including demolition of existing unserviceable valve pit complete all as shown on drawing of CESZ No :TD/EM/06and as specified.

All as per item No. 24 here-in-before but for valve pit of internal dimension 600mm x 600mm x 600mm

M&L for surface excavation n.exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out on soft/loose soil including site clearance by cutting of shrubs, cutting of grass, bush weed, trees, sapling not exceeding in 30cm girth and removal of grass with roots and levelling area and removal of same outside not more than 50m, making clean complete all as specified and directed .

Dismantling and taking out the Old UNSV Sluice valves (ISI Marked) of 100mmd bore, of any class, with flanged ends duly drilled, brass spindle, CI gate with brass rings and iron wheel head with cast iron body, bonnet wedge, stuffing box, gland, thrust plate, hand wheel cap, high tensile brass steam, leaded tin bronze wedge nut, leaded tin bronze, body seat ring wedge facing ring, including nuts, bolts washer, gaskets, 100 mm bore for refacing, regrinding including cleaning, replacement of gland packing, reassembling the same after repair and refixing the same in its original location with CI/GI pipe line including painting the outside of sluice valve with one coat of black bituminous paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- New nuts bolts & washers neoprene rubber gasket shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only' under Sch item No 29 & 30 here -in-after.

All as per item No.27 here-in-before but for 80mm bore sluice valve.

Supply only fully threaded MS nuts, bolts & washers of existing sizes suitable for tightening of MS/CI pipe with flanged joint/Sluice valve.

Supply only neoprene rubber gasket suitable for Sluice valve of any sizes
