M& L repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying paving tack coat with bituminous primer paving\bitumen (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5kg/10 Sqm, putting in premix as specified for thin bitumenous carpet(2cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8Kg of binder with 0.06cum of sand) and again well rammed (including supply of premix, binder and sand) rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller depth of pothole not exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L preparing the existing black top surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc and material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) stone chippings mixed with 5.5% of binder content paving bitumen (VG-10) viscosity grade by weight of total mixed in hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers and laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note:applicable to serial item No 3: The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design Mix approved by GE. (The cost of transportation of the material to the Govt approved lab and design mix charges shall be borne by the contractor). For the purpose of quoting, the contractor shall consider 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix . However the work shall be executed as per approved mix design and price adjustment shall be done only for variation (plus or minus) as per the rate quoted against Sch 'A' item No 12 herein after (on plus or minus side).

M & L for 75mm thick or less (consolidated thickness) premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and paving not exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing 75mm thick cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (40mm graded aggregate) as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confrming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade made with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying sand (25mm thickness) for cushioning to interlocking paver block complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) as in sides of interlocking paver blocks complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 10 x 10 cm size road studds cat eye made of aluminium mould two number of reflectors in red/yellow/white fixed on both side for max retro reflection complete all as specified and directed. Make : Apex/Alcolite/Avery Dennison

M & L for applying 2mm thick single coat thermoplastic reflective paint as in centre line or edge line makring 100/125/150mm width using HOT MARK thermoplastic paint (hot application) white by indeginous modern propelled road marking machine as directed incl all ingredients such as binder glass beads Titanium di oxide calcium carbonate lintar fillers thermoplastic requirment for glass beads shall be as per the table No. 800-4 specification incl spraying of glass beads instruction complete all as specified. Make STP or equivalent as approved by GE

Supply of paving bitumen (VG-10) viscosity grade.
