Six nos. cables to be disconnected from the motor terminal and to be kept at site .
Decoupling the above motor , demounting from its base plate with the help of special lifting arrangement. Motor to be transported from pump house to party's work shop.
Motor to be dismantled and rotor to be taken out from stator. The allied components are to be removed by using special tool and tackles as per requirement without damaging other spares and to be placed on the wooden block in a workable position.
Properly cleaning of dust and dirt by compressed air and brush from winding of stator & rotor and subsequint heating and cleaning by CTC detergent of rotor. Other components should be thoroughly cleaned and checked.
Stator winding to be stripped completely. Stator core to be cleaned washed & dressed by proper way using CTC detergent. A light coat varnish to be applied on the stator core after complete dressing and proper baking.
New coil to be formed as per original size and dimension with new super enameled copper conductor after making wooden fixture.
Stator to be re-wound with the new formed coils by using class F insulation materials. After completion the winding, laminated wedges to be inserted in the slot portion.
Entire stator winding to be baked and varnished. Thereafter, final coating of varnish to be applied with moisture protecting , tropical properties.
Rotor to be overhauled and varnished.
Damaged six nos. motor leads are to be replaced with new leads and insulation to be done properly including supplying & fixing of copper socket of existing specification.
DE &NDE bearing housing to be metalized by usual method & finishing the surface by grinding to fit bearing properly.
DE &NDE journal of rotor shaft to be metalized by usual method & finishing the surface by grinding to fit properly .
Both the bearings are to be opening, cleaning, overhauling and refitted the same properly.
Rebrazing both ends of rotor joints with end rings.
Trueness of the rotor shaft to be checked and rotor to be dynamically balance.
After completion of the above work the motor to be re-assembled with stator, rotor and other necessary parts after painting the inner parts.
Following test to be carried out of the motor by the party and test result will be submitted in due course.i) Resistance test ii) Inductance test iii) Polarity test iv) IR test v) HV test.
The above motor to be transported form the party's work shop to pump house including unloading at site with the help of special rigging arrangement .
Motor to be re-fixed on its original position and cable connection to be made. No load running test to be carried out of the motor.
Final running test to be done of full load after re-fixing the coupling bolts and properly alignment with the pump.
Painting the motor body with two coat primer & two coat of final paint (approved make).
Finishing the end of the cables (120 sqmm x 3 core) by crimping method including fixing of dowell's make solder less sockets , tapes and other jointing materials.
