REPAIR/MAINT OF LEAKAGE/SEEPAGE FROM ROOF IN CERTAIN BUILDINGS OF TECHNICAL AREA OF 3 BRD AF STATION CHANDIGARH UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Demolition of brick tiles/PCC or terracing tiles of any thickness, single layer on roofs laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing the debris outside the defence land complete all as directed.

Demolition of existing tarfelt any no. of layers/plaster/Thermo seal etc in water proofing treatement to roof and cleaning the surface with wire brushes including removal of all dust or dirt etc to the distance outside the defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leeping (weather full thickness removed and demolished upto mother slab) complete all as specified and including disposal of earth outside the defence land.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar in any position and in any location complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (12.5 mm crushed graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Rendering 15mm thick on concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:3 with water proofing compound finishing even and fair without using extra cement as in under layer of roof treatment at any height complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid seperately).

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Applying a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.3Kg /sqm conforming to IS : 3384 and laying 3mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non woven polyster matt having softening point not less than 150 degree centigrade, having tensile strength 650 N/Sqcm in longitudinal & 400 N/Sqcm in transverse direction by torch method with min 100 mm side lap and 150 mm end lap followed by application of a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2 kg per sqm and blinded with clean dry sand @ 0.5Kg/sqm over the APP membrane complete all as specified and as directed. Make : IWL India Ltd/ Pidilite Industries/ STP Ltd/ Sika NOTE: The water proofing treatment shall be carried out by the Authorised applicator of the Manufacturers.

M&L applying two coats of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint over APP membrane @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm for two coat complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15mm thick Rendering on brick ,concrete or dubbed surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finishing fair and even without using extra cement and similar like at any height including necessary scaffolding, ladder & formork including taking down and and removing the debris outside the defence land complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for preparing new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint at any height including necessary scaffolding, ladder & formork etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Brick work with sub Class ‘B’ bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 in any location, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Brickwork (Except bricks) straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks 500 litres capacity (three layered), white colour, ISI marked clylindrical vertical with threaded closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 20mm bore for inlet and outlet, 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I complete all as specifed and as directed.

S & F in repair Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks 1000 litres capacity (three layered), white colour ,ISI marked clylindrical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 20mm bore for inlet and outlet, 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I complete all as specifed and as directed.

M&L for disconnecting of existing PVC tank of capacity Exc 250 Ltr & n. exc 500 Ltrs for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position for water supply to enable water proofing treatment of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specified and directed :- a) Dewatering & removing all settled silt, scale & dust from inside of tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest for 1 hour. b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 mins. c) Writing letters of 7 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning incl rubbing out old letters written over the tank d) Refixing the tank with fittings as required in same position or raised/lower height after cleaning or water proofing treatment (as may necessary) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 16 here-in-before but capacity exc 500 Ltr & n.exc 1000 Ltr, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 20mm bore Tubes, `medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors including taking up or down all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only 20mm bore tubes, any grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors including taking up or down steel tubing all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe of 15 mm bore (minimum weight 142 gms), complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 20mm bore Stop valves, cast copper alloy screwed down high presure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed.

S & F in repair for rough cast, wired glass 6.4mm thick and glazing with siliconized Acrylic sealant/beads(Iron/aluminium) (any type as site required) is exceeding 0.5 Sqm but not exceeding 0.75 Sqm in each pane upto height 25 Mtr including necessary scaffolding etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repair for existing rought cast, wired glass 6.4mm thick wide with siliconized Acrylic sealant around steel/wooden frame to cover all side gaps of glass panes with suitable layer (approximate 20mm width in both side) by silicon Gun as per instructions by manufacturer to stop the water leakage from that portion including removing the existing treatement around the glass panes upto height 15 metre etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 12mm thick glass reinforced gypsum (GRG) ceiling tiles of size 595 x 595mm of approved design fixed with powder coated (powder coating on web bottom only) GI grid consisting of main Tee section of size (15mm x 30mm), cross Tee section of size (15mm x 23mm) and powder coated GI wall angle of size (20mm x 20mm) suitable for mounting tiles of 595 x 595mm with 4mm dia GI wire suspender including fabrication complete as per manufacturers instructions fixed with steel rawl plug with nut and bolts arrangement with grid size 60x120cm including taking down upto height 25 Mtr complete all as specified and directed. Make : Diamond Brand TM/ Dexune/Everest Groove.

Supply and fixing Heat Resistance Terrace glazed tiles (300 mm x 300 mm x 10 mm) with SRI (solar refractive index) > 78, solar reflection > 0.70 solar reflection and initial emittance > 0.75 on waterproof and sloped surface of terrace, laid on 20 mm thick cement sand mortar in the ratio of 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarsesand) and grouting the joints with mix of white cement & marble powder in ratio of 1:1 including rubbing and polishing of the surface upto 3 cuts complete, including providing skirting upto 150 mm height along the parapet walls in the same manner and MTC to be provided by the Contractor complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
