M&L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer's instructions with following course of description below :- (i) Applying a priming one coat of bituminious primer evenly @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm till the surface is properly impregnated. (ii) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighting 3.60 Kg/Sqm and minmum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric matt (weight not less than 150 gms/Sqm) centre core laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75mm and end overlap of 100mm. All overlap joints shall br sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer. (iii) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP Membrance. (Note: the work in respect of water proofing treatment shall be carried out only by authorized/approved applicator of the manufacturer/firms of app membrane. The contractor shall submitted 10 year company back warranty before claiming payments complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for double storey. M&L for preparation of old surface by brooming down or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash on walls surface including salt, glue and blue etc. as required incl cleaning of glass panes, floor and plinth protection complete all as specified and directed .

Note:- (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv). After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE before application of distemper for each building. (v). The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE.

M&L preperation of old painted plastered or stone surfaces of any description and applying one coat of exterior emulsion paint of Aprroved make and colour complete upto six storey height all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : The work is required to be carried out upto six storey building. The rates include for Use of all scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, etc. necessary for execution of work and protective measures. The contractor shall also make necessary safety arrangement for labour
