Erection and Commissioning of Low Voltage Switchboard for 250kVA DG Set at SAP MCC Room, FACT-CD.

Civil works for panel movement. The scope of work includes preparatory civil works for transportation of switchboard panels like removal of entrance door/windows, demolition of side wall of SAP MCC building in the size suitable for panel entry, constructing new brick wall after completion of panel movements, plastering, fixing back doors/windows and painting the newly constructed area, back to its original shape. All items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor. All waste materials shall be transported to scrap yard or elsewhere in the complex as directed by Engineer-in charge.

Disconnection, dismantling and shifting of existing old battery charger. The scope of work includes disconnection, making necessary arrangement for dismantling the old battery charger and safe transportation to PAP MCC room. All items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor. All waste materials shall be transported to scrap yard or elsewhere in the complex as directed by Engineer-in charge.

Transportation, erection, testing and commissioning of LV switch board for 250kVA DG Set. The scope of work includes loading/unloading, transportation of LV switchboard from stores to SAP MCC building without causing any damage to the panels, handling at site, unpacking, checking of components of supply equipment/items as per BOM, listing and handing over of list of short supplied items to site-in- charge, concrete cutting/chipping of floor for cable entry/fixing foundation channels, levelling the foundation floor for placing the new panels, grouting, fixing the panels on the foundation , aligning all panels properly, tightening the foundation bolts, inter-connecting all panels, inter-linking power and earth bus bar, inter panel wiring as per as built drawing, connection of auxiliary supply from external source and testing the wiring schemes, doing basic pre commissioning tests and commissioning the LV switchboard. All items/ tools/ instruments required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Laying/Re-routing of cables for EB Supply / DG Supply incomers to new LV Switchboard. The scope of work includes Laying/ Re-routing of existing cable for DG incomer (Armoured Aluminium Power cables of size up to 3.5Cx400 sq.mm) to newly erected LV Switchboard through cable trenches, risers, walls and clamping/tying the cables at a regular interval of 500 mm. All items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Re-routing of existing cable to J7 motor from SAP MCC to LV Switchboard. The scope of work includes disconnection of power cables from existing starter module of J7 Motor in SAP MCC (3Cx70 sq.mm, Armoured Aluminium Power Cable), Re-routing of cable to newly erected LV Switchboard through cable trenches, risers, walls and clamping/tying the cable at a regular interval of 500 mm. All items required for the work other than cable shall be arranged by the contractor.

Re-routing of existing LT, armoured control cable for J7 module. The scope of work includes disconnection of control cables from existing starter module of J7 Motor in SAP MCC (5Cx2.5 sq.mm, Armoured Copper Control Cable), Re-routing of cable to newly erected LV Switchboard through cable trenches, risers, walls and clamping/tying the cable at a regular interval of 500 mm. All items required for the work other than cable shall be arranged by the contractor.

Laying 3Cx70 sq.mm armoured aluminium power cable. The scope of work includes loading/unloading, transporting new 3Cx70 sq.mm armoured cables from stores/cable yard to DM water MCC, handling at site, laying through cable trenches, risers, walls and clamping/tying the cable at a regular interval of 500 mm. Cables shall be supplied by FACT free of cost. All other items, vehicles, tools, etc. required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Laying new armoured, copper, LT control cables. The scope of work includes loading/unloading, transporting armoured, LT, copper, control cables of size up to 9Cx2.5 Sq.mm from stores/cable yard to work site, handling at site, laying through cable trenches, risers, walls and clamping/tying the cable at a regular interval of 500 mm. Cables shall be supplied by FACT. All other items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Laying new earth cables. The scope of work includes loading/unloading, transporting unarmoured, Aluminium, earth cables of size up to 1Cx150 Sq.mm from stores/ cable yard to SAP MCC, handling at site, laying through cable trenches, risers, walls and clamping/tying the cable at a regular interval of 500 mm. Cables shall be supplied by FACT free of cost. All other items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Laying new armoured cable for emergency DB. The scope of work includes loading/unloading, transporting armoured cables of size up to 3.5Cx 150 Sq.mm from stores/cable yard to SAP MCC, handling at site, laying through cable trenches, risers, walls and clamping/tying the cable at a regular interval of 500 mm. Cables shall be supplied by FACT free of cost. All other items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Laying/Re-routing of existing, armoured cable for lightening feeder. The scope of work includes Laying/Re-routing of existing LT, armoured control cable of size 3.5x120Sq.mm through cable trenches, risers, walls and clamping/tying the cable at a regular interval of 500 mm. All items required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Glanding and termination of armoured copper control cables of size upto 9X2.5sq.mm. at Panel Sides. All necessary materials like gland, cable lugs, insulation tape etc. for the successful completion of work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Glanding and termination of armoured, aluminium power cables of size upto 3.5X400 sq. mm. at Panel Side. All necessary materials like gland, cable lugs, insulation tape etc. for the successful completion of work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Fabrication, painting and erection of ladder type cable tray of size up to 1000mm and cable tray support using 75x75x6/8mm/ 65x65x6/8mm/ 50x50x6mm MS angles, 50x6 mm MS flat, 100x50/125x65/ 150x75 mm MS channel, 100x50/125x70/150x75 mm MS beam etc. in varies part of SAP, cable gallery area. Loading of MS items from general stores, transportation and unloading at site, safe custody etc. is in contractor’s scope. The work includes positioning/ fixing of new rack on existing place. The fabricated cable rack supports shall be welded to the structures/ insert plates at various levels of the plant. The contractor shall provide sufficient anchor bolt of size not less than 12 X 100 mm at an interval of 1 meter for fixing the cable tray support if structures/insert plates are not present .The work shall be carried out as per the instructions of the Electrical Engineer -in-charge. MS angle, flat, channel and beam will be supplied by FACT at free of cost. The cable tray and support shall be painted with two coats of anti-corrosive epoxy paint (grey colour) over two coats of suitable primer. The contractor shall supply epoxy paint and primer required for the work.

Handling of power/ control cables for cable tray replacement. The work includes, dismantling the clamps, cable ties, etc for fixing the cables in old and damaged cable tray, bunching and supporting the existing LT power and control cables of different sizes from old cable tray for cable tray replacement, repositioning and clamping the cables in newly erected cable tray. The cables shall be clamped/ tied at an interval of 50 cm using 3 mm nylon rope/ SS cable ties. Necessary material for tying/clamping of the cable shall be brought by the contractor. The length given against this item is the cable tray length. Not the length of the cable.

Scope of work includes fabrication and supply of thermoplastic load center as per the attached specification. Incomer box shall have 125A SDF complete with handle for operation. Load center shall have a total of 3 numbers of 32A, 4 pole MCBs and 3 numbers of 20A, DP MCBs. Incomer box shall have earth terminals. MCBs and power/earth connectors shall be mounted in Din-rails. All inter connection wiring with sufficient current capacity copper wires/buses and providing suitable earth terminal will be contractors scope. Ferrules shall be provided in the wires and proper labelling shall be done. All earth terminals shall be interconnected. Supporting frame of load center shall be of FRP.

Scope of work includes installation of fabricated thermoplastic load center using PCC. All the materials such as sand , 40 mm hard granite broken stone and cement shall be supplied by contractor. If required, contractor should remove earth/ concrete for properly fixing these items. Required MS items, welding rods, cutting gas etc for fabrication shall be supplied by contractor. Any nut, bolt or foundation bolt required for fixing is in contractors scope. Termination of two number of earth cable of size not greater than 1CX35Sq.mm is also included in contractor's scope. Contractor has to provide suitable materials such as glands, Aluminium lugs, earthing lead etc. as per requirement.
