Taking off existing manholes covers & cleaning of manholes (any size /depth) by dewatering and taking off the rubbish / sludge etc., removing the same upto 50 mtr distance and put into newly excavated pits of suitable size and covering with excavated earth and placing back in position the removed covers complete all as specified and directed Note : 1. Excavation and earth work of pit in any type of soil in deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. Note : 2 No extra payment shall be made for de-watering which shall deemed to be included in unit rate of this item, nett quantity of sludge as removed shall be measured and paid

M & L for Cleaning of blocked sewage lines (SWG/RCC/CI PIPES) 100mm/150mm/200mm bore dia. systematically using necessary tools mechanically and /or manually such as by rodding, passing rop knots, bamboo fanti and disc of required size (with safety measure such as dirt and gas etc), flushing the pipe well with water till clear flow of sewage from both side between two adjacent manhole/gully traps of any depth, taking out sludge in semi liquid stage including all water effluences etc and removing all materials from site of work upto a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing in earth pit of suitable size with and including necessary excavation and earth work of pit in any type of soil including supply and sprinkling bleaching powder and covering sludge with earth after removal of blockage etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The contractor or his authorised rep shall attend day to day complaints related to sewage and drainage works during working hours at 9AM and shall report back at every evening at 5PM on daily basis after satisfactory completion of work. Rs 125/- per complaint shall be recovered from the contractor on account of non attending of any complaint (each complaint) within 48 hours.

Taking off existing covers of septic tank / soak well / soak pit & cleaning the same of any size / capacity by dewatering and taking out sludge in liquid, mud, silt or in solid state after emptying the water by manual or by mechanical means and removing the sludge to a distance not exceeding 50 m and burying the sludge in newly excavated pits of suitable sizes and covering the same with excavated earth and placing back in position the removed covers complete all as specified and directed Note : 1. Excavation and earth work of pit in any type of soil is deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. Material & Labour for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes of 150 mm bore including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed

Material & Labour 150mm bore Salt Glazed stone ware drain pipes Grade 'A' ISI marked laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar 1:1 with spun yarn complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) and disposal of unserviceable materials, debris and rubish to a distance not exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing pre-cast cement concrete landing, cover slabs, chulla hoods, chajjahs, shelves and similar items with plain faces in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour mild steel reinforcement TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc. 1.50 m in depth for foundation etc. or for manholes, cesspits, shafts etc. n.exc 10 sqm on plan & not exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in, including spreading ,levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of precast PCC block masonry / brick work or stone / boulder masonry including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks using old size bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 mtr mean radius, built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping, bed block for embedding hold fasts, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles & throating as directed including necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description on brick or PCC blocks or stone wall or concrete surface etc including raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exc 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 15mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified

M&L for cutting into existing man holes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section ) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 150 mm internal dia of pipe complete all as specified and directed
