Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 30 m outside the periphery of the area as per Technical Specification Clause 201 (By Manual Means) (PWD SOR MORD 2-1)

Clearance of land slides (Slip Clearance) in soil and ordinary rock by a bull-dozer D 80A-12, 180 HP and disposal of the same on the valley side complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (PWD SOR MISC 1-10-1)

Slip clearance (by manual means) of earth and boulders including disposal complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (PWD SOR MISC 1-10-4)

Disposal of land slide/slip/excavated material/ dismantled material/ malba/rubbish/ similar unserviceable by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to dumping ground for lead up to 1.0 Km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. The distance shall be measured one side only and the volume of material will be calculated by applying the following bulking factors: (a) For common excavation material -1.2 (b) For excavated rock - 1.4 (NSI)

Engaging & operation of one no. wheel type hydraulic excavator cum loader machine 0.90/1.0 cum (preferably JCB/L&T/BEML etc.) with one operator and one helper including cost of fuel, lubricants and repair maintenance etc. for removal of slip/landslide/ excavation in dry and wet condition, complete in all respect as per direction of E/C, payment for engaging excavator cum loader shall be made only for actual working hours at site, no idle charges shall be paid. If machine is trapped in slip/earth, contractor shall make its own arrangement to haul the machine, for which no extra payment shall be made to contractor and machine shall be considered in idle condition. Cost of mobilization & demobilization from site shall be borne by contractor. Engagement of JCB. Including supply of all material, labour T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work. (NSI)

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 (PWD SOR MORD 3-5-3)

Excavation for roadway in hard rock (blasting prohibited) with rock breakers including breaking rock, loading in tippers and disposal with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 metres, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross- sections as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3.5 Mechanical Means. : Excavation in Hard Rock (controlled blasting) with disposal upto 1000 m (PWD SOR MORD 3-9-A-2-B)

Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 50 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 (PWD SOR MORD 3-5-1)

Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810 ( if Concrete Required for Vertical post Fixing will be paid extra) (PWD SOR MISC. 5-1-1 )

Providing and fixing of Standard Metal Delineator consisting of minimum retro reflective unit exposed area of 330 sqcm, full cube corner micro prismatic nonmetallic retro reflective sheeting on each side conforming with IRC 67 and meeting the coefficient of retro reflection values as per ASTM D 4956 Type XI table specification with pure polyester powder coating with the minimum thickness ofpowder coating of not less than 40 micron. The posts shall have ellipsoidal or circular design with the height of the pole shall be 800 to 900 mm above the ground with about 200 to 300 anchored with PCC M-15 onto the ground. The front and back faces of the delineator should be curved with a radius of not more than 200 mm and with delta angle (or central angle of curve) lying between 20o and 30 o, to increase the visibility of the delineator for vehicles moving in continuous curves. The delineator shall have sufficient arrangement to make the reflective sheets vandalproof. Including all test report and warranties as per IRC 67 and IRC 79. (PWD SOR MISC 5-6)
