Digital Static Excitation system complete with panels Supply of Indigenous make state of the art Digital Excitation System with redundant controllers, redundant bridges , configurable touchscreen HMI, required communication ports etc complete with panels for Pelton turbine driven Generator No. 4 (50 MW) of Kuttiady Hydro Electric Project, Kakkayam. The Digital excitation System shall have inbuilt redundant controllers (AVR+MCR) with customizable parameters for the machine. The system shall work in sequence accepting commands from Unit automation system (PLC). The system shall give required number of hardwired I/Os to unit PLC and communication interfaces in the specified protocols to SCADA. The entire excitation System should act fail safe. The new excitation panels shall be placed replacing existing Excitation panels. Existing Controls from UCB and SCADA shall continue to be available by interfacing to new excitation system.
MANDATORYAND RECOMMENDED SPARES Supply of spares for Excitation system as recommended by the Contractor/KSEB and Mandatory spares as specified in technical specifications.
ENGINEERING PC AND SOFTWARE a)An Engineering PC (mobile workstation) and software with user friendly GUI for configuration, customization , trouble shooting , diagnosis, firmware flashing, event and disturbance data analysis etc complete with license. b) PC software for design and customization of screens of the supplied HMI complete with license .
