Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Ring Main Unit(RMU) outdoor type, 11 KV, 630Amps, 20 KA outdoor extensible SF6 gas insulated 3 way floor mounted compact switchgear with copper busbar consisting of 01 No. incoming VCB, 02 Nos. outgoing VCB and 01 No. air insulated Bus PT panel. The coupling should be at the top of RMU through bolted connection & sleeved busbars covered with insulating boots. All live parts, busbars, VCB will be closed in robotically welded 2.5mm thick non ferrite non-magnetic stainless steel tank filled with SF6 with IP class IP-67, leak rate not less than 0.1% and tested for internal arc 20KA/second as per latest IEC 62271-200. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fittings complete all as specified & directed:- (a) Incoming VCB-01 No./Outgoing VCB-02 Nos. consisting of following:- (i) Manual operated 630Amps Vacuum circuit breaker having two position double spring mechanism. (ii) Three position disconnector/earthing switch down stream vacuum circuit breaker. (iii) Three position signle spring mechanism for disconnector/earthing switch. (iv) Live cable LED indicators thru capacitor voltage dividers mounted on the bushings. (v) Green (ON)/Red(OFF) push buttons to operate load break switch locally.

Notes for BOQ item 1.00 & 1.01: - (i) The rate for making foundation for RMU of size as per recommendation by manufacturer and the cost of excavation, brick work, concrete, steel etc. shall be included in the quoted rate. The drawing for foundation as per manufacturer design & shall be approved by GE. (ii) The drawings in respect of RMU shall be approved by Accepting Officer through GE and as & when requested by contractor before placing order to manufacturer. (iii) RMU shall be tested by representative of Accepting Officer at factory premises before dispatch as & when requested by contractor. (iv) The testing and commissing after installation of the RMU shall be carried out in presence of Senior Electrical Inspector as & when requested by contractor.

S&F cable jointing kit for 11000 volt earthed grade, outdoor, end termination heat shrinkable type joints complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120sqmm complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning HT XLPE cable (heavy duty), 11000 volts (earthed), cross sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3 core, insulated, screened, sound compacted aluminium conductor, screening with extruded semi conducting layers, insulation screening with copper tape covers laid up with PVC (ST-2), extruded inner sheathed GI strip armoured PVC (ST-2) out sheathed, ISI marked with IS-7098 Part II with upto date amendments, laid in trenches /pipes /ducts /along poles/ walls/ equipment etc complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) Cable shall be of manufacturing date not earlier than Sep 2022. All the cable shall be embossed with year of manufacturing, meterage at every metre, in addition to its own standard markings as per IS i.e. Size, voltage etc. (ii) Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning, end termination joints, protection pipes & protection covers shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) No straight through joint shall be permitted in less than single drum length. (iv) The contractor shall produce original purchase vouchers duly machine numbered alongwith excise duty gate pass of factory for verification and record. (v) Cable shall be tested in the presence of rep of Accepting Officer at the factory premises and in the presence of GE or rep of GE after laying in the trenches & before returning filling in the trenches as & when requested by contractor.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm X 60cm X 6mm thick buried directly vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of Charcoal dust & common salt filled in alternate layers and electrode connected to GI earth lead strip 32mm x 6mm upto 7.5mtr long by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and connection to earthing test point & earth dolly and including watering pipe medium grade GI 20mm bore & protection pipe light grade GI 40mm bore, including wire mesh, funnel, lugs, salt, charcoal dust, excavation in soft/losse soil, returning filling & removal of surplus soil upto 50mtr, pit chamber shall be of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded mechnically crushed stone aggregates and pit cover slab 80mm thick shall be of Precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechnically crushed stone aggregates reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4Kg/sqm including necessary form work complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I, including testing on completion at site complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Any variation in length of earth lead and protection pipe of earth lead shall be adjusted through DO. (ii) On testing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, earthing will be generated at no extra cost , till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (iii) The chamber shall be constructed atleast 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth for foundation etc or for walls, shafts, manholes not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan or for laying pipes/cables etc and getting out, in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

M&L sand cushioning to electric cable with a layer of dry fine sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying the cable (punned down to 18 cm depth after laying and stretching of cable ) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class HV type-1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, ISI marked, laid flat for protection of cable, adjacent to each other, perpendicular to central axis of cable complete all as specified & directed.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary T&P for passing of LT/HT cables thorugh upto 50mm bore GI pipe complete all as specified & directed. Note: LT/HT cable & GI pipe shall be measured and paid seprately.

M&L GI pipe 50 mm bore , light grade as in trenches, under road, under floor, fixed to wall with fixing arrangement with suitable size of MS clamps made from 40mm x 3mm size flat iron including nuts, bolts & washers or along the pole with fixing arrangement etc for cable protection complete all as specified and directed . Note :- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately
