Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation / fixing pole / laying cable and pipe line etc or for man hole etc not exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick using suitable excavated soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance exc 50 m but n.exc 100 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point.

Taking out old PCC cable cover of any type / any size from trenches acomplete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & laying ISI marked & conforming to IS - 5820 - 1970 unreinforced precast concrete cable cover Class LV , Type I , flat size 250 mm X 150 mm X 40 mm in trenches as protection to LT UG cable all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & laying ISI marked & conforming to IS - 5820 - 1970 unreinforced precast concrete cable cover Class HV , Type I , flat size 300 mm X 180 mm X 40 mm in trenches as protection of HT UG cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Laying only PCC cable cover for LT UG cable, of any description retrieved from item No.30, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note for Item No 51,52,53,54 & 55 :- (i) The Defect liability of LED light fitting provided under this contract shall 3(three) year from the certified date of completion of work.

(ii) Contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on non judicial stamp and submit it to GE for guarantee of LED light fitting provided under this contract.

(iii) Contractor shall submit security deposit @ 5% amount of these items (in addition to performance security) calculated as per quantity actually executed at site. security deposit amount shall be retained out of the contractor’s bill as security deposit for guarantee period of 03 year which shall be refunded to him after expiry of guarantee period satisfactorily. Alternatively, the contractor may give a separate interest bearing security deposit or Bank Guarantee Bond to GE valid for 03 years for this amount.
