Annual maintenance plan on Surajpur Kiarda via Santoshgarh road km. 0/0 to 5/600 (SH P/L wet mix macadam to repair pot holes and 20mm.thick premix carpet and seal coat in km. 3/0 to 4/0) for the year 2019-20.

Amount

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC (Optimum moisture contents) in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100 (Eighty to one hundred) kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406 by mechanical means including haulage of materials with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying priming coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) at the rate of 0.70 Kg. to 1.00 Kg. (zero point seven zero to one point zero Kilograme) per square metre on the prepared granular surface cleaned with hydraulic broom as per Technical specification Clause 502 including hauling / carriage of material through all modes of trasportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 50 mm (Fifty millimetres) compacted thick bituminous macadam with crushed aggregates of Grading -II (Two), 19 mm (Nineteen millimetres) nominal size using bitumen VG-30 (Thirty) grade, minimum 3.3% (Three point three percent) of weight of mix on thoroughly cleaned surface, free from pot holes and cracks by mechanical broom and dust removed by compressed air, mixed in batch mix/ computerised hot mix plant of 100-120 tonne (One huntred to one hundred twenty tonnes) per hour capacity calibrated from time to time, mixing to bituminous concrete as per approved job mix formula from approved laboratory, transporting the mix material in clean insulated vehicles covered while in transit or awaiting , tipping and laying with sensor paver finisher to the required level and grade , rolling with power road roller and vibratory road roller to achieve the desired density including profile correction including haulage of materials with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion(RS-1) using emulision distributor at the rate of 0.25 Kg. to 0.30 Kg. (zero point two five to zero point three zero kilograme)per square metres on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with hydraulic broom as per Technical specification Clause 503 including hauling / carriage of material through all modes of trasportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm (twenty millimetre) thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm (thirteen point two millimetre to five point six milimetres) crushed stone aggregates using penetration grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable palnt, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of type -B as per technical specification clause 508 by manual means with Bitumen VG-10 (ten) grade including hauling/ carriage of material through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bitumenous surface laid to the specified levels grade and cross fall using type 'B' as per technical specification clause 510 by manual means VG-10 (ten) grade bitumen including hauling/carriage of material through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per the directionof Engineer-in-charge.
