Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil including soft rock but excluding hard rock by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation, trenches, retaining wall, drains, manholes, chambers, culverts etc. including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil within a lead of 100 mtrs, maintaining dry working area during excavation and for subsequent operations by way of construction of temporary trenches, channelizing the surface water, dewatering the subsoil water, shoring etc all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.

Same as item no. 1, but for depth beyond 1.5 m (Payment up to 1.5 m depth shall be made under item no-1)

Back Filling of available excavated earth (excluding rock) in foundations, trenches, plinths, etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by mechanical means/ manual means, ramming and watering, including loading, unloading, transportation by mechanical means all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.

Dismantling P.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 100 metres lead complete with all labours, tools etc complete as per the specifications and directions of MIC.

Dismantling R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including cutting & stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 100 metres lead complete with all labours, tools etc complete as per specification and direction of manager in charge.

Dismantling brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 100 metres lead with all labours, tools etc complete as per the specifications and directions of MIC.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 Coarse sand : 6 course aggregate 20mm nominal size) for foundation, pavement, floor concrete, plinth protection etc including the cost of all materials, tools, tackles, labour, centering, shuttering, all complete for all leads and lifts as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Providing & laying of plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement :4 coarse sand : 8 stone aggregate) using 40mm nominal size crushed stone aggregate, in foundation & plinth etc, including cost of centering & shuttering, all complete for all leads and lifts as per specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 Coarse sand : 4 course aggregate 20mm nominal size) for pavement, floor concrete, plinth protection, slabs etc including the cost of all materials, tools, tackles, labour, centering, shuttering, as per drawings, all complete for all leads and lifts as per specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Providing and laying in position design mixed M-20 grade cement concrete with graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size for RCC works, using cement content as per approved design mix, for all leads and lifts, in all types of RCC work such as footings, retaining walls, culverts, rafts, drains, chambers, roads, pavements, columns, beams, walls, slabs, chajjas, including vibrating, placing of thermocol at expansion joints, finishing, curing etc. excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, etc all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement and reinforcement steel shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Supplying and grouting pockets, under base plates etc with ready mixed non-shrink cementacious grout (Conbextra GP-2 of FOSROC or equivalent) of approved manufacturer at all locations including shuttering, curing etc. all complete as per manufacturer's specification and directions of MIC.

Supply, erection, installation and alignment of MS foundation bolts assembly, conforming to IS 5624 : 1993, in concrete along with nuts, lock nuts, anchor plates, stiffener plates, protective tape etc. including furnishing of labour, materials, equipments, welding, cutting, grinding, threading, drilling, pipe sleeves etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC.

Supplying and filling approved quality coarse sand in foundations, trench, under floors and other specified areas at all leads, lifts and locations including shuttering (if required), watering and ramming, all complete as per drawing, specifications and directions of MIC.

Providing and fixing centering, shuttering, strutting, propping etc. for all types of works such as RCC foundations, retaining walls, columns, drains, culverts, pavements with good quality shuttering ply of any shape and size including firmly fixing in position with screws, bolts, separators, tension devices, true to line and level, stripping off the same after specified period etc. for all depths and heights, all complete as per the drawings, specifications and directions of MIC.

Fabricating and fixing in position HYSD steel reinforcement at all levels and positions including transportation from Nalco store, straightening, cutting, bending , cranking, welding, binding with wire of 18 gauge annealed wire conforming to IS 280, and providing cover blocks etc. for reinforced concrete, and any other place as specified complete, as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC. (Payment will be made on the basis of standard weight per metre length of the bar, Reinforcement steel be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Brickwork in CM 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) using Cement based FLY ASH bricks in all types of works at all locations, including raking of joints, curing, scaffolding, with all bye works etc. All complete as per specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement & bricks shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Providing 12mm thick cement plaster with CM 1:6 (1 Cement : 6 Fine sand) on faces of walls, pillars, projection etc. including raking out joints, if any left out, necessary finishing to line and level, dabbing, curing, scaffolding, drip course wherever required at all heights and depths. All complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Providing 15 mm thick cement plaster with CM 1:6(1 Cement : 6 Fine sand) on faces of walls, pillars, projection etc. including raking out joints, if any left out, necessary finishing to line and level, dabbing, curing, scaffolding, drip course wherever required at all heights and depths. All complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Providing and fixing steel glazed windows / ventilators with aluminium beading and all members of standard rolled steel section, joints mitered & welded with 15 x 3 mm lugs, 10 cm long, including applying two coats of approved steel primer and two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint including providing, hinges, pivot, etc. complete in all respect as per drawing & instruction of Engineer-in-Charge (sectional weight of only steel members shall be measured for payment. For aluminium beading payment will be made separately)

Providing and fixing aluminium box beading with aluminium screws etc.

Supply and fixing of 5.5 mm thick glass panes in windows / ventilators / sky light etc. in all positions & height including putty, glazing pins/ clips etc to required sizes complete as per drawing & instruction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and laying 22.5 cm thick black granite boulders for boulder soling and filling the interstices with broken stones, ash/bottom ash available inside plant including loading, unloading, transporting of all materials, segregating, laying, packing with spoils, preparing the surface, watering, compacting with necessary number of passes using power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity. All complete as per the specifications and directions of MIC. (Payments shall be made on the basis of consolidated thickness of boulder soling)

52 mm thick cement concrete flooring with non metallic hardener topping (of Fosroc/ Sika or equivalent) for heavy duty flooring , under layer 40 mm thick cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and top layer 12 mm thick cement hardener consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement hardener mix : 2 graded stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) by volume, hardening compound mixed @ 2 litre per 50 kg of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications. This includes cost of cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).

Supplying and applying two or more coats of Exterior acrylic emulsion paint APEX ULTIMA of Asian paints or equivalent product of Berger/ AkzoNobel of any approved shade to exterior surface after applying a coat of exterior primer including cost of labours, tools and tackles, scaffolding etc. complete for all heights as per the manufacturer specifications and direction of MIC.

Providing and applying two or more coats of 1st quality Acrylic washable distemper, Tractor brand of Asian paints Ltd. or equivalent paint of Berger/ AkzoNobel , of approved shade including removing of old paint, two coats of primer, cost of labours, tools and tackles, scaffolding etc. complete for all heights as per the specification and direction of MIC.

Fabrication of steel structure in single or built up sections made out of all types of steel sections including carting from NALCO store, cutting, welding, grinding, brushing, cleaning the surface and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer (red oxide zinc chromate of Asian/ Berger make), return of surplus, scrap steel to NALCO stores/ scrap yard etc including the cost of all transportation, labour, consumables, tools etc., all complete at any elevation as per the specifications and direction of the Manager-in-charge. (Structural steel will be issued free of cost at NALCO store)

Erection of steel structure in single or built up sections made out of all types of steel sections including the cost of welding, bolting, consumables, labour, tools, hoisting arrangement, transportation, cutting grooves/ holes for proper alignment etc all complete at any elevation as per the specifications and direction of the Manager-in-charge.

Dismantling of steel structure made of all types of single or built up section, doors, windows, collapsible gate etc by necessary gas cutting/chiseling, hammering, cutting groove, making holes if necessary by chipping, stacking properly the serviceable materials for reuse and disposal of unserviceable materials to designated areas (scrap yard) all complete for all elevation as per the specifications and directions of the Manager-in-charge.

Dismantling/ removing of old AC/ GI/ Al/ FRP sheets including ridge, valley gutter etc and stacking properly the serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials to designated areas (scrap yard) all complete for all elevation as per the specifications and directions of the Manager-in-charge.

Supplying and fixing Aluminium troughed metal sheet for roofing / side cladding and at all heights above finished floor levels, approved make as per relevant IS code & specification including side lapping, end lapping, crimp ridge, crimp eave, etc. Trough sheet shall be connected to the top surface of purlin, top chord of truss, runners, etc. with self tapping self drilling screws with EPDM washers of Hilti make or equivalent (as per sheet manufacturers specification), all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, etc. complete is all respect. (Only Aluminium trough metal sheet shall be issued as free issue material). cross sectional area shall be measured for payment purpose.

Fabricating / bending to the required shape & size and fixing 0.91 mm thick plain Aluminium metal sheet for crimp ridge, crimp eave, angular edge, rain water valley gutters etc. (Plain aluminium sheet shall be issued as free issue material)

Providing & fixing 3mm thick polycarbonate sheets conforming to classification 14443 * PCISP * LHRN * 2521 as per IS: 1443-1997 (trough sheet of size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by M-I-C). They shall be of uniform pigmentation and thickness without air pockets. The sheets shall be opaque or translucent, clear or pigmented, textured or smooth as approved by M-I-C. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping steel screws of Hilti make of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, all complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, including cutting to size and shape, sealing of openings/ holes wherever required for all elevation as per specifications and directions of Manager-in-charge.

Providing and applying two coats synthetic enamel paint of Asian/ Berger/AkzoNobel make of any approved shade on steel structures including necessary scraping and cleaning the surface from loose dust, dirt, pill out paint, rust or any other foreign materials including the cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding etc. & removal of the scaffolding after the painting is over all complete at all elevation as per specifications and directions of M-I-C.

Providing & fixing on wall face 150mm dia PVC rain water down comer including filling the joints with solvent cement (PVC liquid) including necessary bends, mouths & shoe complete with all fittings, fixtures as per instruction of the M-I-C.

Dismantling old C.I/ MS/ PVC pipes at all heights breaking lead caulked joints, melting of lead and making into blocks, including stacking of pipes at site lead up to 50 meter all complete as per specifications and directions of M-I-C.

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including 2 coats of priming coat with approved steel primer & two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved quality all complete as per specifications and directions of M-I-C.

Disposal of surplus earth, dismantling materials, debris etc. generated during execution of work, including loading, unloading, transportation by mechanical means from site of work to designated areas on NALCO land lead upto 5 kms, spreading, compacting, dressing all complete as per specifications and direction of MIC.
