REPAIR MAINTENANCE REPLACEMENT OF GARDEN LIGHT FITTINGS CABLES AND ALLIED WORKS AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE (I) DM VISAKHAPATNAM

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5M wide and not exc 1.5M in depth and getting out in soft loose soil all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5M wide and not exc 1.5M in depth and getting out in soft disintegrated rock (considered for road cutting) complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material not exc 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5M above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L for type B1 1:2:4, using 20mm graded stone agregrate for pole coping / road / drain / path against damage due to excavation/laying of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing HDPE double wall pipe corugated pipe of size 40 mm dia of pressure rating 6 Kg/cm2 for cable protection laid in trenches in lieu of sand/brick protection all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade cross section area 6 Sqmm 3 core and connection complete with aluminium cable lugs incl dismantling taking down unsv one all as specified and directed.

All as per ser No. 7.00 above, but of size 16 Sqmm 4 core

Attending electrical complaints and call on repair of control panel of street light, security light, garden light, perimeter light, tower light & high mast light provided inside Dockyard, decarbonizing all contact points of contactors , replacement of wornout aluminium cable lugs, wornout screws, nuts, bolts and washers, tightening the loose connections whereever required, adjustment of timer, cleaning and restore the power supply all as directed. Note : (i) Replacement of spares viz MCB, MCCB, contactors, timers, cables, will be measured and paid for separately as supply only and labour element for taking down the replaced spares shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.

(ii) If the qty of complaints to be attended in a control panel/LT panel is more than 01 No in a day, altogether the complaints will be considered only 1 (one). (iii) The contractor has to engage qualified electricians and helpers in sufficient Nos to attend and rectify the defects within 2 hrs from obtaining complaint Via Call or Complaint slip otherwise recovery will be made of double amount. (iv) The contractor has to arrange for manipulator/jenny/ladder to carry out repair work and trimming of tree branches which might obstruct in repair work.
