Excavation for roadway in hilly area in all height and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual /mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chiseling, wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORTH technical specification Section 300 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road way, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all mode of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and others incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means/labour if required. All usefull material such as stone shingle aggregate and states etcetra shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Recovery of stone to the tune of 2449.56 cubic meter at the rate of Rs. 300.00 (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor's running bills or on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public, private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures or other sources graded and compacted transporting to site, spreading, grading in 200mm (Two hundred milimetre) thickness with three wheel 80-100 (eighty- hundred) KN static weight road roller to meet requirement of table 300.2 as per MORTH technical specifications section 300 and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
