Repair /maintenance including material & labour for complete servicing, Calliberation and testing of 11 KV Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) as per the following scope of the work :- (a) Complete servicing to be carried out as per the manufacturer guidelines. (b)Removal of corroded grease and foreign particles from various parts of the VCB. (c)Cleaning of all parts with cleaning agents such. (d)Checking the setting/alignment of pole assembly and contact impression. (e)Checking the arc contacts gap and same to be adjusted or replaced with new contacts if any. (f) Checking the release setting as UVR/Shunt trip/Earth fault protection release. (g) Checking the tightness of all hardwares if any and also presence of hardware and provide the same if not available. (h) Checking operating mechanism and trip mechanism function. (j) Re-greasing and lubrication of complete VCB. (k) Testing of protection release with necessary testing kit. (l) Re-fixing the VCB and service report to be submitted by the contractor.

Disconnecting the HT & LT connections and taking down of existing Indoor/Outdoor/canopy type transformer of any capacity mounted on 2/4 pole structure/plinth/substation and transport to factory from site/Power House/ AGE E/M yard for repair and back to site/Power House/ AGE E/M yard after necessary repair/replacement of defective parts including installation in the same location and testing after proper connection, complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (a) The rate quoted for the item includes the following :- (i) Arrangement of manpower, tools , plants , crane and recovery vehicle for transportation and shifting of transformer to work shop and back. (ii) Toping up of transformer oil, replacement of transformer oil as required basis under intimation to the department. (Transformer oil will be measured and paid seperately). (iii) Re-winding of defective winding of transformer, if required will be carried out under this item . (Winding material shall be measured and paid separately under respective items) . (b) Re-winding of transformer and replacement of defective part will be carried out only after inspection of Engineer in Charge. ( Rewinding of Transformer will be paid separately) (C) Any damage occurred to transformer during the process of disconnecting/taking down/transportation, shall be made good by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the Eng-in-charge at his own expenses.

Material and labour for rewinding of HV/LV side of copper wound transformer with winding wire as per relevant IS, copper winding wire as per IS : 1180 and and using original gauge/data including insulating materials such as cotton tape, packing and sleeves etc varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking of coil core assembly for copper wound transformer including taking down of old unserviceable copper winding wire complete all as specified and as directed .

Repair/maintenance and servicing of step down transformer 11 KV/433 Volt of capacity upto 630 KVA , comprising following work services :- (a) Disconnection carefully of cable end termination of HT & LT side. (b) Opening of top cover by removing nuts, bolts and all mounting accessories and conservator tanks. (c) Draining out transformer oil and keeping aside in barrel for re-use and then again pouring back after necessary filteration and dehydration including top up with new transformer oil to make up the reduced quantity if required after cleaning the internal surfaces of transformer incl. removing of sludge from bottom .(New Transformer oil for topping up will be measured and paid separately). (d) Replacement of top and buttom Gaskets. (e) Servicing of tap changing gears by cleaning and polishing tapping contact points. (f) Cleaning of bush and stud both HT/LT side and refixing the same with new cock sheet as required (h) Reconnection of all cable terminals HV & LV sides and refixing the top cover after replacement of gaskets, conservator tank in position. (j) Cleaning and heating of silica gel in breather and replacing with new silica gel if required.. (k) Connecting HT & LT side with existing incoming and outgoing cables including reconnection of earth strip/lead. Note: (i) Filteration and dehydration of transformer oil, New transformer oil, (ii) Spares like bushes and studs, New silica gel, New buchholz relay and M seal monoplast, etc required for replacement shall be measured and paid separately. The labour element involved in replacing the spares shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted. (iii) The unit rate quoted shall include the cost of all other minor spares as required not mentioned hereinafter.

Supply and Fix bushing and stud complete with porcelain insulators for LT side (as per existing size/Model) for transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA.

Supply only transformer oil ISI marked in sealed containers for transformers oil, confirming to IS-335 with dielectric strength of not less than 54 KV at 2.5 mm gap and testing for strength including recording results complete all as specified. Note:- (i) Purchase vouchers alongwith manufacturer's test certificate shall be produced to GE. (ii) Nos of sealed containers shall be recorded in MB.

Supply and fixing in repairs silica gel for breather as per existing specification in sealed bag for transformer up to 650 KVA capacity complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted steel or iron surfaces of transformer of any capacity by scrapping with steel wire brush/scrapper emery paper, etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enamel smoke grey paint over a coat of red oxide primer (painting shall be done by spray machine) including writing of SM No, MES No etc. at prominent place/location of transformer capacity 100KVA to 630KVA with black synthetic enamel thick paint in white back ground complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing gang operated air breaker switch ,triple pole, mechanically operated , mounted on insulators and steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level using heavy duty GI pipe, for current rating 200 amps, out door type (confirming to IS specifications) HT 11 Kv , triple pole with fixed contacts of phosphorous and bronze Fuse carrier fitting , 9 insulator type mounted on MS channel operating rod with pad lock arrangement including dismantling old unserviceable gang operated Air breaker switch from two pole / four pole structure complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rates quoted deemed to be inclusive of all equipment such as crane & transported vehicle .

Excavation in trenches soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth for foundation etc or for shaft well, cesspits, manholes, pier hole,cable laying etc n.exc 10sqmm on plan and not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

M&L for sand cushioning in trenches for protection of Ht/LT under ground cable including watering and consolidation etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying common burnt bricks, clay building, sub class 'B' desingation 75 in trenches for cable protection complete all as directed.

Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover , class HV,type 1 with peak of size 450mmX230mmX50mm in trenches for cable protection complete all as directed.

Relaying of old bricks any size any type as obtained from excavation for cable all as per specified and directed.

Supply and fix galvanised iron pipe in 50 mm bore, light grade for protection of UG cable laid in trenches / fixed to pole with MS clamp,nut, bolt etc complete with all fitting such as socket or any other item required for fixing of pipe including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as directed. (Note :- MS clamp, nut,bolt etc required for fixing the pipe with pole shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate).

Supply and fix galvanised iron pipe in 80 mm bore, light grade for protection of UG cable laid in trenches / fixed to pole with MS clamp,nut, bolt etc complete with all fitting such as socket or any other item required for fixing of pipe including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as directed. (Note :- MS clamp, nut,bolt etc required for fixing the pipe with pole shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate).

Supply and fix galvanised iron pipe in 100 mm bore, light grade for protection of UG cable laid in trenches / fixed to pole with MS clamp,nut, bolt etc complete with all fitting such as socket or any other item required for fixing of pipe including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as directed. (Note :- MS clamp, nut,bolt etc required for fixing the pipe with pole shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate).

Repair and servicing of 415 Volt, LT ACB of capacity upto 800 Amps of in existing panel including disconnecting all electric connection from main panel board , strip opening and replacing minor parts such as nuts bolts & washer etc including cleaning of all contact points with proper high quality of rust preventive spray etc reassembling the complete switch gear unit and testing all as specififed and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mmX 600mmX 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically ( earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metres below ground level, connected to and includingGI Strip of size 32x6mm and light grade protection pipe of 40 mm dia from earth electrode up to test point or up to 7.5mtr whichever is less by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I and GI watering pipe of 20 mm dia medium grade, GI funnel with wire mesh including charcoal, salt packed all around the earth electrode plate in layers, PCC earth pit chamber (1:3:6) type C1, of size 45X 45X 45 CM, RCC cover (1:2:4) type B1 of size 45X45X6 CM, excavation/earth work in any strata and returning filling, removal of surplus soil and testing/test point for required value including removing old item complete all as specified and directed. (GI strip upto 7.5m including testing consider in this item).

Material and labour for providing cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling for poles or floor complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping for poles or floor complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Cutting & trimming of tree branches any girth and size touching to overhead lines and cleaning the distance 3.0 mtr both sides of overhead line with in a gap of span upto 50 mtrs each depositing the same for cleaning the site all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for emergency maintenance work for HT/LT supply system during breakdown by deploying skilled labour and electricians at faulty site including transportation and other tools and plant required at site for fault rectification. Note:- Contractor or his rep shall come to the site of breakdown within two hours of notification of breakdown. In case the contractor or his rep shall not come to the site of breakdown and start attending breakdown within two hours, a penalty of Rs 500 per fault per hour shall be imposed over contractor and shall be deduct from his dues.

Taking down existing rusted/worn out MS cross arm, angle, clamps, nuts, bolts and washers and supply and fixing new MS Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamp and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any type, shape or as indicated and directed inclusive of one coat of red oxide and one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Taking down U/S old cable any type any size from trenches/wall and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls/ floor etc matching with the existing surface etc complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for XLPE insulated, LT armoured electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor of 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 50sqmm, 3.5 core laid in trenches / pipes / ducts / wall / borings with necessary cable lugs and glands, nuts, bolts and washers etc and testing complete all as specified and directed .(NOTE: Excavation / earth work, sand cushioning, cable cover / brick shall be measured and paid separately if required)

M& L for XLPE insulated, LT armoured electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor of 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 70sqmm, 3.5 core laid in trenches / pipes / ducts / wall / borings with necessary cable lugs and glands, nuts, bolts and washers etc and testing complete all as specified and directed .(NOTE: Excavation / earth work, sand cushioning, cable cover / brick shall be measured and paid separately if required)

M& L for XLPE insulated, LT armoured electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor of 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 95sqmm, 3.5 core laid in trenches / pipes / ducts / wall / borings with necessary cable lugs and glands, nuts, bolts and washers etc and testing complete all as specified and directed .(NOTE: Excavation / earth work, sand cushioning, cable cover / brick shall be measured and paid separately if required)

M& L for XLPE insulated, LT armoured electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor of 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 120sqmm, 3.5 core laid in trenches / pipes / ducts / wall / borings with necessary cable lugs and glands, nuts, bolts and washers etc and testing complete all as specified and directed (NOTE: Excavation / earth work, sand cushioning, cable cover / brick shall be measured and paid separately if required)

Material and labour for preparation of old rusted steel surfaces of HT swaged poles (of 11m length) and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint up to 1.2 meter height as per the existing pattern above the P.C.C coping and one coat of aluminium paint beyond 1.2 meter height (for the rest portion) including cross arms, brackets and re-writing pole numbers and cutting vegetation growth all around and on the poles up to 1 metre radius complete all as specified and directed

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (hevy duty) with aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade (Earthed) of size 95 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Excavatioin and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers, protection pipes and jointing kits Iincluding jointing materials shall be measured and paid for separately).

S & F in repairs & replacement of Steel Tubular Poles HT complete with and including cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts , nuts & screws, type 410 SP-55(11 Metre long), also including painting to the external exposed surfaces with 2 coats of aluminium paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer and with 2 coats of black bituminous paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer to the external exposed surfaces of steel poles embedded in the ground / concrete after preparation of the surfaces, numbering to the poles, complete in all respect as specified and as directed, Note:- Excavation & Earth Work, concrete for foundation and coping shall only be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for finding fault in the existing route of the HT Cable by cable fault locator any type rectifying the fault complete all as specified and directed. Note :(a)excavation at fault site is deemed to be included in quoted rate.(b)HT cable & joints will be measured and paid separately here -in-after.

Supply and fixing HT cable route marker fabricated with Cast Iron with 6-7 mm thick round sheet on top of 150 mm complete with MS flat/Angle (size 25x25x5mm) iron leg of 600 mm long complete errected with PCC (1:2:4), type B1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including taking down old unserviceable HT cable route marker complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Trenchless Technology Boring by emplyoing Horizontal Directional Drilling/Boring machine (HDD Machine) for drilling under ground utility for laying HT power cable below 8 meter from the normal ground level complete including HDPE pipe PN8 PE100 type of required size and jointing with HDPE sockets of suitable dia complete including inserting power cables of 95/120 Sqmm 3 core HT/LT cable inside the 110 MM bore HDPE pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note- Rate quoted by Contractor is deemed to be included for the following :- (i) HDD Boring/drilling 6 meter deep from normal ground level. (ii) HDPE pipe 110 mm bore PN8 PE100 type including jointing as per site requirement. (iii) Inserting HT/LT cable of required size and taken out other end. (iv) Any permission required if any from NHAI/PWD/WBHDCL or any govt agency, necessary action and departmental charges is levied by the Contractor. Note: (i) rate of cable will be measured and paid separately.(ii)rate of HDPE pipe is included in quoted rate.

M & L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through Heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sq mm to 95 Sq mm including taking down old unservicable one etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination Cold shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armored aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sq mm to 95 Sq mm including taking down old unservicable one etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for Indoor termination heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armored aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sq mm to 95 Sq mm including taking down old unservicable one etc complete all as specified and directed.

Boaring holes horizontally under Road without damaging the surface of road (minimum 1.0 Mtr bellow the road surface) with the help of GI tubing of any dia not exc 100 mm dia for passing of UG cable all as specified and as directed.(GI Pipe laid shall be measured seperately)

M & L for supply, erection and commissioning of steel tubular swaged poles simple/decorative type complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screwes as specified type LT type 410 SP-31, (9m long) including two coat of synthetic emulsion paint upto 1.2 mtr hight in black and yellow strips (as directed at site during painting) colour and there on synthetic enamel paint silver colour on steel surface such as complete pole, cross arms, brackets, MS flats, nuts, bolts and all accessories fixed on pole with excavation, earth work, PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation and coping of poles with PCC (1:2:4), type B2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) including taking down old unservicable one etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Excavation, earth work and concrete work complete not included in unit item of the rate quoted by the Contractor and the same will be paid seperately).

M & L for preparation of old painted surface of steel tubular pole of 9 mtr long swaged pole by removing all dirt, dust, corrosion etc and apply one coat of synthetic emulsion paint upto 1.2 mtr hight in black and yellow strips (as directed at site during painting) colour and there on synthetic enamel paint silver colour on steel surface such as complete pole, cross arms, brackets, MS flats, nuts, bolts and all accessories fixed on pole including writing of identification Nos, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for load distribution of LT panels/feederpillar box and building panel for transformer phase balance, including insulation tap lugs etc if required for load distribution all as specifed and completed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation for old rusted steel surface of feeder pillar box/LT panel of any size ,applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint as per the existing pattern above the PCC and black paint on legs of feeder pillar/LT panel and cutting vegetation growth all around and on the feeder pillar box/panel board upto 1 mtr radius complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to LT panel out door/indoor type including taking out old damaged / unserviceable door,door hinges and welding new hinges of size as per existing and providing one locking arrangement etc complete all as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs mild steel / GI plates plain or chequered 5 mm thick or over in thick ness in required size for duct covers complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for brick work with sub class'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 mtr mean radius built in CM (1:6), etc complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for loose filling in substations, under poles, under transformers of hard core broken to gauge not exc 63 mm broken stone/boulders including leveling and spreading lime stone powder under stones complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying in replacement of synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage upto 11 kv for lectrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and diercted.

M&L for applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint after preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm in width or girth complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for surface dressing averaging 15cm depth in soft/loose soil for cleaning and cutting /removal of green vegetation in and around the installations and removal of the soil outside of the installation complete all as specified and as directed.
