Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of cable etc including getting out in Soft/Loose soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each, back in trenches after cables have been laid and tested,poles, stays , struts have been erected and tested all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil (Soft/hard soil) obtained from excavation to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cable with dry sand locally available 8cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm above the cable, stretching and testing of cable complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : for payment purpose punned thickness of 18 cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 23 cm as mentioned in para 10.75 of SSR Part-I

Supply & laying of Sub class 'B' old size well burnt brick laid flat in trenches as protection to LT cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 Core x 240 Sqmm with double compression/ single compression gland in panel side, cost of gland deemed to be included in quoted rate.
