M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 sqm on existing black top surfaces and M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of bitumen with viscosity grade VG-10 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 10 tonnes power roller to required and M&L for premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface and rolled with 8 to 12 tonnes power roller to a uniform and smooth surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note :(i) Design Mix for SDAC shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. (ii) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20 B 2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (Specifications). (iii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 50/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm and rolled with 8 to 10 tonnes power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-10 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. (ii) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (Specifications). M&L hot applying thermoplastic compound (paint) 2.50 mm thick including reflecting glass beads, white and yellow in colour, uniform thickness as per MORTH specification No. 803 including cleaning of road surfaces heating the material with in specific temperature and road marking with all arregement required for proper completion of work etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F cat eye studs, ABS body confirming to IRC-67, 1977 of different colour approved by GE having load capacity 40 ton giving reflection on both sides in wet and dry condition including fixing with epoxy resin as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.
