Scarifying mechanically by miller machine or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exc 400 Sqm, up to 150mm deep complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cutting out edges truly vertical upto 150mm deep all around with electro mechanical cutting machines and pneumatic breaker, cleaning vertical edges and bottom with wire brushes, final fanning with pneumatic air compressor making materials from the site and thrown away where directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of Bitumen VG-10 grade conforming to IS : 73 at a rate of application of 0.3-0.4 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and consolidating (minimum 50mm thick) premix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM Grading - II) using min 4.5% VG 40 grade binder by weight of total mix, aggregate gradation as per Grading 2 of table 500-10 of MoRTH specification road and bridge works 2013 rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L providing and consolidating 40 mm thick premix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC-II) using min 5.6% Elastomeric PMB 76-10 binder by weight of total mix, aggregate gradation as per Bituminous Concrete grading 2 of Table 500-17 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, rolled and compacted by using Pneumatic Tyre Roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

Removing scarified materials (DBM/DAC) outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- The work will be carried out as per user requirement from 1830 hrs to 0600 Hrs or as directed. The deployment of labour and T&P arrangement on the Runway shall be intimated to the contractor by 0800 Hrs each day in the morning. The contractor shall be provide necessary arrangement such as lights, portable generator, pneumatic road roller, bitumen paver, bitumen sprayer and other required T&P etc and quote the rate accordingly for considering late working hours at night. Nothing extra will be paid on this account.
