MAINT OF RUNWAY SHOULDER AND DRAIN CLEANING IN AIRFIELD AREA AT AF STATION HALWARA

Grass cutting/vegetation clearance of ground including leveling etc using TRACTOR, STRAW REAPER AND TROLLEY, Tractor not less than 50 HP such as Swaraj 855, HMT 5911, Ford 3630, Sonalika 60 etc including crew consisting of driver and trollery of size not less than 11 feetx6.50feetx2.00feet and covered with wire mesh net upto 4 feet height above top of trolley for collecting grass and removing the same outside MOD land etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. The working hours as per log book of tractor for grass cutting and leveling shall only be measured for payment. 2. Work shall be carried during non flying hours specially adjacent to runway & PTT & shoulder of runway/PTT etc. 3. Log book shall be maintained duly signed by JE/EIC, Contractor and user rep for daily working hours. 4. The trolley of size not less than 11feetx6.50feet x2.00feet and covered with wire mesh net upto 4 feet height above top of trolley to avoid spreading of grass shall be provided alongwith tractor for collecting the grass in the trolley and removing the same outside MOD land or as directed by EIC. 5. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all the above provisions and nothing extra shall be admissible. 6. Time for removing grass in trolley outside MOD land shall not be measured for payment purpose.

Cleaning of lined / pucca drain of any description or any shape etc exceeding 0.50 Sqm in cross section area by excavating mud in any situation including cutting and cleaning all shurbs, grass vegetation, plants etc from in side portion of drain as well as on both side of drain(at ground level) to a distance of 1.5m on both side and removing the same to a distance up to 500 m and disposting where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as directed.

Grass cutting/vegitation clearance etc around runway lights, electric cable route marker, DTGM navigation aids, Taxi/runway edge etc by using hand held mechanical bush cutters complete all as specified. Note :- 1. The working hours as per log book for grass cuttings/vegitation clearance shall only be measured for payment. 2. Work shall be carried during non flying hours specially adjacent to runway & PTT, shoulder of runway/PTT etc. 3. The work shall be carried out in patches. 4. Log book shall be maintained duly signed by JE/EIC, Contractor and user rep for daily working hours.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl item No 5.00 here-in-before but except bricks. Note ; Serviceable bricks obtained from demolition shall be re-used in the work after cleaning and removing mortar from the old bricks)

Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster on brick walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick plaster on brick/concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates) as in coping/similar works etc including use of necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.
