Contract Details

M&L for lifting out and removing non functional submersible pump set of any description and capacity (5 HP to 7.5 HP) & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 50mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from existing bore well (approximately 150 Mtr depth of pump set from GL)after disconnecting the electrical connection from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed . NOTE 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes , screwed and socket joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new socket and nuts bolts. The cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However replacement of pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately.

M&L in replacement of existing U/S MS water tubing as in column pipe, 50mm bore, medium grade of thickness 4.5 mm, ISI marked, conforming to relevant IS for column pipe in required length but length not more than 3.00 mtr, both end threaded. One end internally and other end externally threaded and duly welded with pipe using 4 Nos MS strips of size 20x 3mm in triangular right angled shape with provision of 04 Nos holes and side slot for passing submersible cable on threaded end, including painting with two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out & removing old burnt out windings wire of the submersible electric motors of 5 to 7.5 HP, Three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply capacity and rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper conductor wire including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding ,transportation to site complete all as specified and directed Notes : (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A` as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in the above quoted rates. (ii) The windings of motor including windings wire and connected material is deemed to be included in the quoted rates

Lowering down of the submersible pump set of any description and any capacity & in any position, in bore well alongwith column pipe 50 mm dia and submersible cable of any size (approximately 150 Mtr depth of pump set from GL) including making necessary electric connections and providing water tight cable joint & testing the pump set after lowering complete all as specified and directed (including notes mentioned here in below). NOTES :- 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lowering pump set in bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lowering of pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Rates quoted by the contractor for the above item includes the cost of assembling & connecting pump set to column pipes & assembling, jointing and fixing column pipes with MS internally threaded flange welded with column pipe by using 04 Nos 20x3mm MS strips and thereafter jointed with rubber gasket joints and nuts, bolts / pump set at the end / submersible cable and making necessary connections and testing including reconnecting water supply system.
