Supply of Double Walled Corrugated (DWC) Pipe/duct with associated collars etc. as per RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/204/2011 or latest antirodent & anti-oxidant and non-flame propagating type in 6 meters straight length and of size 120 mm outer Dia, & 103.5 mm inner dia. 6 (The manufacturers, suppliers must produce valid IS license and should be certified under ISO 9000 and shall submit copy of certificate). One coupler with suitable rubber O-ring should be supplied with every 6m of pipe length. (The total quantity of above items is equal to no. of pipes supplied.) DWC pipe shall be marked at every 1 mtr. length in such a way that manufacturer's name, vendor name and year of manufacture can be easily identified.
Transportation of cables in rolls with or without wooden drums (S&T Cables) from concerned store to the site of works.
Transportation including loading/ unloading of Optical Fibre Cable along with HDPE pipe from the stores of IMD/DDUN, IMSD/DAPN or from any store of DFCCIL to the site with care and 8 laying of OFC as per procedure and returning empty cable drums with or without left over cable to the stores of DFCCIL. It includes supply and placing of warning & Detection tape orange colour of 100 mm. Wide printed in black as "CAUTION OFC CABLE" at every 1 meter interval (Minimum) and laid in the trench in station section and as directed by the Representative of DFCCIL
Micro Tunnelling through Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) machine, preparation of sites, boring and laying of HDPE pipes of size (outer/inner diameter= 50mm/42mm) for crossing of S&T cable through HDPE pipe at bridges/culverts/track crossing/pucca road crossing, boring trench shall be minimum 3 (three) meter below the river bed and minimum 1 m at track/road/pucca road 9 crossing area etc. This includes supply of permanently lubricated HDPE telecom ducts of equal length as per Specification No. RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013 REVISION 2.0 with latest amendments. For each HDPE duct the following items are to be supplied as per requirement (a) End plug (b) Cable sealing plugs (c) Plastic coupler slip fit/push fit type (d) End plugs to be provided along with drum. In case the site doesn't allow to perform as per schedule, written approval must be obtained from atleast site Incharge officer. Note: The boring profile should be recorded and submitted for verification of depth and length of boring. (2 HDPE pipe)
Hiring of JCB/Hydra/ Poclain machine (in good working condition) for levelling & 10 dressing of ground/ dismantling structures including disposal of debris through dumpers/Shifting the location box or signal post with foundation etc. with contractor's labour, JCB/Hydra /Poclain machine, machine operator, fuel etc. Payment shall be made for actual working hrs. at site & proportionate payment to be made in case less than hours. Note: Vehicle shall not be more than 3 years old.
Cutting of all types of platforms/road crossing and trenching and excavation to a width and depth of 300 mm x 300 mm, laying of DWC/HDPE/GI pipe in the trench and refilling and 11 concreting it afterwards as per original condition. In hard rocky ground area, cables will be laid normally on layer of soft earth of 0.05 meter thickness previously deposited at bottom of the trench. Th e cutting to be filled and finished with cement/concrete, as per the RDSO drawing No. SDO/Cable laying/008, issued vide RDSO document No. RDSO/SI/G/2010 Version 1.1 dated 04.02.2014 or latest.
Excavation of cable trench as per cable route plan, 1.2 Mtr. deep and of 0.3 Mtr. to 0.6 Mtr. wide at bottom as per RDSO sketch No. SDO/CABLE LAYING/003, issued vide RDSO document no. RDSO/SI/G/2010 Version 1.1 dated 04.02.2014 or latest, alongside the track in normal 12 soil/strata (including soft rock), conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling and ramming of loose soil. This work includes clearing of route from bushes etc., covering of cable laid in trench by loose soil for a layer of 50mm thickness approximately before covering by bricks. The work shall be done as per the extant practice on DFCCIL and instructions of DFCCIL Engineer at site. In case the full depth is not available, there shall be proportionate payment but only after the approval of minimum Dy.PM. officer.
Laying of S&T Cables of various cores/ pairs/ quads in trenches/ GI pipes/ RCC pipes/ DWC pipes etc. as per the site requirement and as per approved cable route plan. This also includes 13 laying of cables in track crossings & road crossings. (Cables will be meggered before and after its laying by contractor under supervision of DFCCIL Representative and he will submit the meggering report of each testing). Length of the cable laid includes the length of the cable coiled for termination purposes.
Cross trench for identification of the route of existing signalling and telecom cables.
Physical tracing and opening/locating of existing working cables by precession digging for diversion of cables in connection with cable clearance for engineering earth work without interfering the circuits as per the advice of Railway site engineer.
Supplying and placing of one layer of quality bricks of standard size and of 'B' grade of the local make and spreading on cables laid. (minimum size of brick 200mm X 100mm X 70mm)
Horizontal Boring/Manual Moling without damage to surface road /track for laying/insertion of DWC/GI/HDPE pipe. The bore shall be done at the depth of minimum 1400 mm from the ground level. The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank of the road. Note:- DWC/HDPE/GI Pipe Supply is not covered under this item. Contactor shall provide all material required for work and adequate nos. of labours for proper laying of cables into the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damaged due to rough handling & pressure on cable. Payment of boring shall be made only after DWC/HDPE/GI pipe is laid in the bore.
Laying of HDPE duct as per the approved cable route plan in the excavated trenches/ other protected works/RCC channel etc. including all accessories like end caps, collars, bends, 18 couplers etc. The ends of the duct to be sealed with end plugs till OFC blowing is done. Important: The laying of OFC cable independently or along with Quad cable/PIJF cable in the same trench shall be governed by the RDSO drawings No. RDSO/TCDO/COP-6(a) and RDSO/TCDO/COP-8 (a) respectively, issued vide Chapter-XIII of the Telecomm Manual.
Splicing of 24 core optic fiber cable and making the splicing joint with contractor's 19 own machine and tools. Joints should be prepared in such a way that the top of the enclosure should be at a depth of minimum 1.2 meter and the enclosure should be covered with soft soil and bricks. Splice loss of each fiber should be less than 0.05 dB.

Construction of OFC jointing pit of size 1mx1mx0.6m, using bricks, sand and cement 21 in the ratio 1:3. Th e thickness of the wall shall be 120 mm. The top cover shall be of concrete of thickness 75 mm with two iron handles on top of it. The pit shall be covered with sand aft er putting the joint enclosure. All construction material to be supplied by contractor.

Modification/Alteration in existing EI (Electronic Interlocking) as per latest RDSO guidelines/TAN. It includes: Design and modification in existing Interface and Interlocking circuits and logic of EI system including modification in the VDU (Video Display Unit)/ LCP (Local Control panel)/ CCIP (Control cum Indication Panel), Maintenance terminal (MPC), Data Logger, Relay rack 82 wiring. The complete work should comply with the latest RDSO specifications and guidelines and as per approved SIP and circuit diagrams. All the material (Interface cards /relays /wiring material / connectors / fuses / communication devices etc.) shall be provided by the contractor. The work also includes the supply of modified Selection table, Interface Circuits, VDU/ LCP/CCIP diagram etc. to suit the modified SIP. It also includes the carrying out of FAT, SAT (as applicable) jointly with DFCCIL and satisfactory commissioning. All plans/drawings/circuits etc. should be prepared on AUTO CAD, soft copy to be supplied on Pen Drive and 06 sets of hard copies also to be supplied. Supply of Composite Relay Rack/Q series Relay Rack as per Drawing No. SK/DRG/OL/SER/192, Sheet 1 or 2 or latest and must be powder coated of stone grey colour.
Transportation, Grouting/erection, wiring as per approved wiring diagram of 19" relay rack/Composite/Q-Series Relay Rack with subsequent alteration (with 3/4 X 9" anchor bolts with one nut and one washer per bolt & D-bracket & 60mm insulator), fixing of M.S. ladder as per requirement for rack to rack connection, CTR and control panel, fixing of plug boards, relays, terminal blocks, 85 terminals, filter units, tag blocks,fuses, bus bars, shelves, strips, 6mm Hylam sheet of required length for writing terminal description etc. fixing and termination of cables on the relay racks with number embossed ferrules, bunching of cables with PVC tape, earthing of cable armour including painting and lettering. Wiring and testing of complete relay rack accommodating all relays as per wiring diagram. All materials such as eyelets, M.S ladder, Hylam sheets, ferrules, trough etc., if required for modification of rack shall be supplied by the contractor and to be carried out at site within the cost.

Painting of two coats of Enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide primer after 89 scrapping and cleaning of the surface. Paint to be of reputed make Asian/Dulux/Berger or similar. (Point machine and ground connections, Point machine by Black enamel and ground connection by Red oxide)

Preparation of Station Working Rules (SWR) in English on the basis of station working 90 rule diagram/gate working rule diagram to be supplied by the contractor. Submission of two draft copy to railway for checking and resubmission of draft in three copies for approval of division after making corrections. Soft copy (Editable form) to be supplied in pen drive.
Preparation of Station Working Rules (SWR) in Hindi/Regional Language of that station. Procedure to be followed as per above item.
Supply of 1 copy of SWR in English finally approved by railways along with spiral binding. This has to be done after CRS sanction has been obtained.

Supply of Class B & C Surge protection Device (SPD) -Type I & II with Visual Indication and Potential free contact to remote monitoring as per Specification No. RDSO/SPN/165/2012 Ver 3.0 94 or latest and IEC standard 61643 for Single line 230V AC application with handling Lightning surges of 10/350 microseconds and Switching surges of 8/20 microseconds .One Set consists of 3 nos. of SPD (2 No. of B Class (L-N, N-E) and one no. of C Class (L-N) all enclosed in a Box with KEMA or VDE certified as per latest IEC 61643-11-2011 Standard. Class B&C Surge protection device required with Three modules only.
