Running and Maintenance of water pump sets attached to section I E and M Sub Division No VI during 2021 22 under PHED APWD Prothrapur SW Comprehensive of Annual Maintenance Contract AMC of different water pump sets for the period of one year

Routine preventive maintenance and rectification according to the manufacturer’s norms of electric motor driven and diesel engine driven water pump sets along with its allied equipments on as and when required basis. This includes adequate staff and tools. (15 days/month) . SCOPE OF WORK: *Inspection and rectification that includes checking the coolant level, oil level, fuel system, turbocharger, radiator and self starting and charging system. * Inspect hoses regularly for leaks. * Inspection of batteries clean by wiping them with a damp cloth whenever dirt appears excessive.Inspection of oil drips and other issues easy to spot and take care of any repairing of engine. *Regular checking of bearing temperature, greasing, vibration, shaft alignment, anchor bolts for tightness, gland packing, coupling of water pump. Regular checking of electric motors terminal tight, motor vents and windings for dust/dirt build-up and clean inspect starter /ontractor for arcing, overheating, etc. Use a megger on the windings to check for insulation failure. *Regular check that all machineries / equipments in connection old, new and 25 ML plant including clarri - flocculator and rectify its routine faults.

Minor repairing as per the according manufacturer’s norms of different electric motor driven and diesel engine driven water pump sets along with its allied equipments on as and when required basis. This includes with adequate staff and tools. (08 Days/month) SCOPE OF WORK:- *Replacement of head gasket, inlet & exhaust valve, tappet adjustment, timing chain/belt, mechanical seal, fuel injection system, air-cleaner, exhaust system. * Repairing of head valve grinding, self starter and charging alternator along with engine control panel gauges which includes engine temperature, RPM, Oil pressure and replacement of defective wiring harness. *Replacement of defective shaft, DE/NDE bearing, casing ring, sleve, locknut, gland packing and couplig assembly along with proper alignment of water pump. * Replacement of electric motor terminals, DE/NDE bearing, wiring system. Replacement of starter/contractor, MCCB, Thermal / magnetic relays. *Replacement of defective spares of machineries / equipments in connection old, new and 25 ML plant including clarri - flocculator.

Servicing "B" check of different diesel engines for twice in a year on as and when required basis.
